9 points (wife: 8 points) Rice used : Watabune No.2 Polishing : 50 Alcohol content : 16 Firing Sold at Jizake Shop Tenba (Matsufuku-cho, Takamatsu City) When opened Pon No gassy feeling Slight melon-like topping. The same fruity aroma as the first rise, soft rice flavor and mild sweetness spreads with a thin line of acidity, and finishes with a slight bitterness. It is fresh and mild, but the umami of the rice is well expressed. It goes well with meals and is of course delicious on its own as well. It goes well with oden (a Japanese stew), roast beef, and take-out from Sushiro (sushi restaurant), which I had at my father's house on the first anniversary of his death.

It took 2 days to open the bottle (it was too hard on the day of purchase). It is full of smooth rice flavor. It is dry with a strong acidity and is refreshing contrary to its appearance. It is also good as a food sake!

The ultimate in food sake," indeed! It seems to go well with any meal, Japanese or Western. Discreet citrus aroma, unassertive but with a strong presence. Tastes great on its own, but also plays a supporting role in complementing meals.

The same fresh aroma as the first sip, the umami of rice and the clean sweetness spreads in a flash, and it finishes quickly with a soft bitterness. It is fresh and juicy with just the right balance of sweetness. It goes well with Ichitsuru's chicken on the bone and catered lunches.
