Next week seems to be the best time to see the autumn leaves in my hometown, Fukuoka. However, both of us will be working next weekend. I can't see the beautiful autumn leaves, so I bought some delicious sake 😁.
I am enjoying the beautiful autumn leaves 🍁.
Yuki no Bijin of Akita Brewing Company, which is a very close neighbor of Shinmasa. I put them next to each other in the photo.
As a great lover of Shinmasa, especially No. 6, there was no way I would not buy it when I saw the No. 6 yeast.
I love the umami that spreads in the mouth. I'll be drinking ❎6 again tonight 😍.
I received this as a gift from my father. It is a Junmai Daiginjo and has a generous mouthfeel for an Omachi. As you can see in the picture, the sweetness and spiciness level is dry, but I think it is too sweet for me. Thank you for the good sake, father.
It's rare to see the alphabet in a sake brewery. I couldn't help but buy it 😆.
And the taste...
It's a dozen strikes! Fruity and umami, with a strong finish that only 17 degrees can give. It's the best 🤗.
Forty years ago, my brother and I grabbed our New Year's money and went to the first sale at a local model store. We were eager to buy the Gundam plastic model we wanted, but there were only three: Gundam, Zaku, and White Base. I have a sad memory that my brother took the Gundam away from me because of power, of course, and I went home crying and bought the Zaku.
But not this Zaku! It is not just any Zaku! Not only is the love mountain, but the label also has love in it because of the ministry!
Sweet drinking, fruity aroma, it is the strongest umashi of this fall.
Ray, I will drink it today too 😋.
The cherry blossoms on Kintai Bridge are magnificent. It is a Japanese treasure that you should definitely see. I would like you to stand on your head and drink this sake, too.
What, you can't stand on your head?
Me neither. I drink it quietly with my feet on the ground ☺️.
Umami! Yummai! Umamai ❣️
Ya~, it's so good that you can't help but speak in Kitakyushu dialect. Sweetness, lightness, and a wonderful fruitiness like a fine Shine Muscat. It is indeed a sake specially prepared by the brewery. I was feeling blue as I was preparing for hard work starting tomorrow, but I felt happy all over again.
Thanks for your comment. Hehehe, it was delicious. You can buy this sake at the store. I think they also do mail order. Please let me know if you would like to purchase it and I will let you know the store.
As a lover of fruity and juicy sake, I am not a fan of the mellow, subdued aroma and classic sake flavor often found in hiyaoroshi, but Nabeshima-san is indeed my best hiyaoroshi (this year is especially good). It's delicious!
Even if you are having a bad day at work, the sweetness and crispness of this sake and the unique flavor of rice in the sake will make you feel all clear. Oh, yum!
I drank it for the first time. It has a well balanced umami and acidity, and the overall taste is very strong, which is right up my alley.
However, times have changed. Sake from Niigata Prefecture used to be synonymous with light and dry.
