Hi, Hiroomi Yamamura 🍶.
Jihonbeni is delicious 😋 I met you at an izakaya and fell in love at first sight. We met at a liquor store in Osaka and fell in love at first sight. I once went back to Nara with a bottle 😅.
I hope you have a happy new year.
When poured into a wine glass, it has a very yellow color and the aroma has a pronounced sweetness. The impression on the palate is as the aroma suggests, but the aftertaste is sweet without being cloying or cloying. The sweetness blends well with the spicy Szechuan cuisine I just had.
PS)
I read in other posts that it is sweet like caramel, so if you don't like sweet type, it may not be suitable for you. I guess this sweetness must have been popular as a luxury sake in the Muromachi period.
My wife bought it as a souvenir from her trip to Kanazawa (^^)
It is a bit disappointing because it was a junmai sake, but it is said to be a limited edition. As you can see from the yellowish color, the aroma and taste are sticky and spicy, but it is easier to drink than I expected.
I like fruity sake, but I think I can enjoy it with dishes that go well with it.
Yesterday we had sushi🍣, so dry sake went well with it.
Today I am enjoying light side dishes with my favorite Kaze no Mori, and also with the international version of ALPHA. I think ALPHA is fruity and goes well with sake-centric meals.
I am surprised that the expiration date is only 3 months old. There might be less gas when you actually open the bottle. But it is still delicious (^ ^ ^)
It's been a long time since I've had a Muryozan. I just noticed that it has a sticker saying "Vintage 2018", does that mean it is an old sake? The sake is yellowish, sweet and mildly delicious.
Muryozan never fails me, it's really good!
I had a corona infection, and now that I've calmed down, I wanted to drink some good sake, so I opened a bottle of my favorite sansho (^ ^).
I knew it was good!
This is MASUIZUMI GREEN, the wine yeast model of Manjusen.
The label looks like a blackboard with the menu of a fashionable cafe in Jiyugaoka.
It looks like sake, but the slightly sweet aroma of citrus fruits such as lime and lemon makes it almost like wine.
I bought it because it was ranked high on the list. I thought it was a fruity type, but my personal impression is that it is a deliciously spicy type. It seems to go well with sushi.
