It is not my favorite sake, but I bought it because of a pop-up saying it goes well with sashimi, and it certainly does! It is not my favorite sake, but I bought it because of a pop-up saying it goes well with sashimi. I was told that this sake is sold under a different brand name in my hometown, but is a staple at izakaya (Japanese style pubs). I can see why.

I was surprised at how well the sweetness of rice can be used to make such a beautiful sake. I was surprised at how well it was made. It is not clean, but beautiful. But not too neat and clean. It is delicious!

It has a wonderful balance of light nigorigo, cleanness, and umami! I give it 5 stars as my favorite direction for a sake without much acidity. I couldn't read the word "sozoma" (^_^;)

Stable taste♪ Slightly accented with a hint of miscellaneous flavor, is it Akaban Omachi rice? Not bad! The acidity goes well with the sweetness of today's Saikyo-yaki, although it is not so fizzy that you have to be careful about opening the bottle. When it gets lukewarm, you feel a little bit of a strong miscellaneous flavor, perhaps because it has been a little while since it was manufactured?

The balance of a good Junmai Ginjo sake. This was the first time for me to drink Hitogokochi sake, but I feel that the sweetness becomes stronger when heated. I rate it 4 stars, which is a little high for its cost performance.

It has a strong sweetness and a slight acidity, which is a little outside of the direction of what I like in Omachi, but it is excellent both at room temperature and chilled. As the label says, the strength and complexity of Yumachi and the lack of clutter are wonderful!
