The company was founded in 1871 by Hanjuro Shinohara, who was originally the chief priest of Kunitsuhikomikoto Shrine. However, in 1886, a typhoon flooded the nearby river and washed away all the production facilities. Fifth bottle for Father's Day gift 🍶. It has been a long time since I have had sake from Ehime Prefecture. The design on the cup suggests that it would be best to drink it during the cherry blossom viewing season, but when I received it, it was just before summer, so I opened it thinking it would be better to leave it until next spring 😅🍶It has no peculiarities, just a normal taste, but it has a clean aftertaste and is easy to drink. I have 7 more cups of sake that I got 😊, so I'm going to drink them impatiently 🍶😊.
