I was drawn in by the words, "I'm in Akabu!" and entered the restaurant. Yum! Sweetness, spiciness, and balance are good! Akabu is good!

When there's a drink from your hometown, you tend to ask for it Yamamoto Pure Black I don't think it has sweetness. It tastes sharp and dry. If the color "pure black" were expressed in taste, this is exactly what it would taste like.

I took a sip and thought maybe the bitterness came, but then came the sweetness, the spiciness... ...Huh? I don't know, I have a stupid tongue... But this is so good!

Akita's famous sake, Manzaku no Hana sweet liqueur Recorded because it is made in a local sake brewery... I wondered if it was made with junmai sake like the Mansaku no Hana Tamago Sake, but it was brewed alcohol. I thought it was brewer's alcohol. It is said to be a "rich sweet liqueur like rare cheesecake. It tastes just like drinking yogurt with alcohol! Sweet and sour! I have a stupid tongue, so if someone told me "this is the kind of doburoku", I might believe it...

Kijoshu is said to be made using junmai-shu (pure rice sake) as the brewing water. This sake seems to use not only junmai-shu but also daiginjo. Crazy in a good way... My first impression of the sake was that it was sweet! Just like a ripe apricot," the description says. Sake level is -39, apparently. The alcohol content is said to be 13.5, so it's easy to drink!

Delicious. Sweet and refreshing. Ace of Heavenly Blossoms, they say it's a heart label, reminiscent of Candy's Ace of Hearts. Tenka is delicious and I highly recommend it!

Today's third sake, Otters! Even when I was not so interested in sake, I used to hear about this brand as a delicious sake! I can't take a picture of the label so I don't know, but 45 means the rice is polished to 45%. It's so light and refreshing!

I can't take a label picture, so I'll just use a picture of the boar's mouth. Not too hot, not too sweet. Not too hot, not too sweet, just standard sake.

Taiheizan is the best sake brewery in the world The nearest sake brewery from my parents' house When I went home for GW, I got sake from my parents, but they don't drink sake at home. It would have been tough if it had brewer's alcohol in it, but it was Junmai Ginjo! No, I always drink it in Yongo bottles, but a bottle of sake is hard to drink... It seems to be polished to 55%. The color is a little yellowish. It's a bit on the dry side. Maybe it's because it's a draft sake, but it has a surprisingly sour taste. I underestimated it because it's a sake brewery near my parents' house and it's not at a premium, but it's good! I haven't seen Taiheizan at any izakaya in Sendai... Personally, I think that there are many good sake breweries in Akita, so competition is high...
