Tonight is Kiritanpo & Damako nabe, Akita's specialty!
Of course, we will drink it with North Akita bent-wood sake cups and tokkuri (rice wine cup) 😀.
It's a rather sweet and fruity sake!
I imagined it would be a bit more hardcore, but it's a jun-dai, so it's gorgeous and delicious!
It's light and easy to drink, so it's likely to have a wide following!
It's gorgeous and fruity, but strangely enough, it goes well with food!
I tend to buy sake cups with traditional crafts, so I have a high probability of splurging😅, but drinking sake with souvenir food, sake and sake cups is the best aftertaste of a trip 😆.
Purchased at a nearby supermarket. It had a fruity aroma and I thought it would be very sweet, but it was not. I thought it was easy to drink even though it was a bit like sake.
Za Akita.
A restaurant owned by a friend of mine.
Akita's local cuisine is served in a stylish obanzai style....
Kita Akita...Slightly dry. It's refreshing and goes well with dishes! I had it with hiya 💕.
Kiritanpo is the best! Perfect for the cold Tohoku winter.
