I went to my usual liquor store for the year-end and New Year's holidays, "Which sake do you recommend for hot sake? He recommended this one! This was supposed to be uploaded on New Year's Day, but I was sick during the holiday season and couldn't drink any alcohol due to a liquid diet. I'm sorry I'm only just now getting around to uploading it! So, I immediately started heating up the sake 😊. The tools are the "Kurimanju Heating Set" from the March issue of MonoMaster. I used Mousume to buy it, lol. Normally, the alcohol smell of hot sake makes me a little bit sick, but it goes down easy! It's not too dry, but it's easy to drink. It's not too dry and easy to drink! It was a good combination for today's sashimi and chicken crystals!

In Nagano Prefecture, there is a local fresh food supermarket called Tsuruya. This is what they had in the sake section! Miyasaka Brewery, famous for its Masumi sake, collaborated with Tsuruya to produce this sake, which is only available at Tsuruya! As a resident of Nagano Prefecture, I have no choice but not to drink it! Masumi is known for its light and dry taste, but this sake is low in alcohol (13%), so it is very easy to drink and goes down your throat very smoothly! This is a very tasty sake suitable for summer drinking! If you are ever in Nagano Prefecture, please stop by Tsuruya and look for it!

I found this when I went shopping for summer sake. I heard that the sake is brewed with wine yeast 🍷. I thought it might have a strong acidity. I thought it would be too acidic, but it has a strong sweetness like Daiginjo-shu and a fruity aroma. It is an easy-to-drink sake, just like a juice! I bought a four-pack, but I'm sure I'll finish it in no time!

It has a refreshing acidity and flavor with little sweetness, so it's perfect as a cold sake on a hot day like today! It was served in my favorite decanter for cold sake! Finally, we have conquered North to East Japan! This is a sake from Tokyo, which has been on my mind for a long time! I bought it at Hasegawa Sake Shop in Gransta. I went home and opened the bottle. For a moment, it was like a pout? The aroma is a mixture of citrus and lactic acidity. Although it is Yamadanishiki, there is not so much sweetness, but umami and bitterness in the air! This is delicious! It is light and light, so it goes well with a variety of snacks. So today we will enjoy it with skewers from a yakitori restaurant also in Gransta 😊.

Nice to meet you Hokkaido! Finally, I was able to drink sake from the northernmost part of Japan! This is my first time to drink sake rice called "Kitashizuku"! I was excited to open the bottle! Now, what kind of aroma is it? When I put my nose close to it, it smells sweet like apple honey! When I drank it, it was also sweet! What? It's like juice! I had imagined northern sake to be dry, but I was surprised! I can see why it says "in a wine glass". I'm glad I found another new sake!

Purchased as a reward for my hard work last year and for GW fun! I heard that this is the newest in this year's PREMIUM series! Open the bottle! Just by opening the bottle, you can smell the pineapple aroma! What? Even though it hasn't been poured yet? As soon as you pour it into the glass, the aroma fills the glass even more! I couldn't hold back any longer and poured it into my mouth! Ah, it's delicious! The sweetness first, followed by the umami, fills the mouth! I can finish a bottle like this in two days. No, no, no! In Ueda, there is a terraced rice field called Inakura no tanada. This sake is made only from "Hitogokochi" sake rice grown in these terraced rice paddies. This sake is only sold at five liquor stores in Japan, but I bought it at a store directly owned by the brewery! Ah, how nice to be local! The aroma is mild. Slight lactic acidity. Slightly effervescent and sweet on the palate. More umami than bitterness. I don't know if this is a characteristic of the sake rice or the result of the brewing process, but it is a delicious sake both on its own and with sashimi. By the way, I wonder if they will accept this green bottle at the local collection? (I wonder if they will take these green bottles back to the local collection point?)

I bought it at the local Okazaki Sake Brewery's direct sales store. I realized that when I took the picture! I thought I bought Miyamanishiki, a brewery limited edition, but it was Yamadanishiki (lol). Oh well. I'll go back and buy some more. So I opened the bottle. It has a slight gassy feeling. More importantly, it has a fruity sweet aroma that only Yamadanishiki can produce. The taste is also well-balanced and sweet. It is so delicious that we regret that we can only buy it in a No. 4 bottle! Sake from Shinshu is delicious! Please try it!
