うとうと
May. Purchased at a liquor store in Saku City, where we visited Saku-no-Hana Sake Brewery and were told "they carry all of our products".
At a large tasting, I was attracted by the "home-made paddy field" and made an immediate decision.
When you put it in your mouth, you are greeted with a fine, strong tingling sensation, followed by a faint sweetness that quickly recedes without leaving any sake-like sensation at the back of your tongue.
When I tasted it at the store, it was chilled and I strongly felt the character of the sake rice, but when I drank it slightly chilled, I did not feel the habit of the sake rice and it went on and on.
I prefer it not too cold 😊.
The flavor is light, so it goes well with a wide range of dishes. It is not too spicy, so it is easy to drink.
I went for the Urasaku (Junmai) but it was already sold out and I was wondering what to do with it, but I'm glad to have a new encounter with it ✨.
