The first sake of the New Year was Kubota's Manju 🍶🎍.
The moment you put it in your mouth, it has a soft sweetness and a gorgeous aroma, really delicious and elegant taste! It was the perfect sake for the New Year ♡.
It was a happy start of the New Year with sukiyaki with good meat!

The mouthfeel is clean and just the right amount of dryness that does not interfere with the food. It is more ricey than fruity 🌾.
I felt autumn with oyster tempura, ginkgo and chestnut rice in earthenware pot 🍂8/10

Pairing at a French restaurant!
Mellow and rich, but the aftertaste is clean and not too heavy! The aroma is more fruity than grain-like! It was a taste that complemented the dish without interfering with it 😌.
The dish was very tasty, with Manganji chili stuffed with pike conger stuffed with grated yam, shiso leaves, curry and homemade mustard sauce on top! I never thought sake would be served at a French restaurant...I was happy!
