Sake from Wakayama found at a liquor store in the next city today.
It was my first time to drink sake from Wakayama.
As the store's POP said, it is dry.
After a little while, it has a sweet aftertaste.
It is nice.
Risshun Asa Shibori arrived just a few minutes ago.
This year's sake is clear and very beautiful.
It tastes fresh right after opening the bottle.
It tastes dry and just the way I like it.
When you pour it, you can feel a little bit of density, which is also good.
I've been drinking a lot of dry sake lately.
It is good because it tastes good.
Tengumai is not gone yet, but I'll drink this one since it's a fresh sake.
It arrived a few days ago, a sake to support the recovery effort, with 200 yen per bottle being donated to the relief efforts.
This is the second time I have tried Tengu Mai, but the last time I drank it at a restaurant in Ishikawa Prefecture, and all I could think was, "Hmm? I was not surprised at all.
It's very spicy.
I like this kind of sake.
My husband used to go to university in Ishikawa 😅 when this arrived.
I'm happy to be able to help Ishikawa Prefecture in this way.
I heard they use "Gohyakumangoku" or something like that, but I love "Gohyakumangoku".
I heard that the actual stores are sold out because of the small quantity of the reconstruction support sake, so maybe it is still available in the online store. Also, there may be some liquor stores that we do business with.
I came across this nigori sake in the sake section of Aeon today.
It was labeled "100% Ginpu"...hoh.
Alcohol content 12%, light and nice.
It's easy to drink, but I have to drink it soon.
That's why I don't touch nigori sake too often.
GO SPADE I bought at the supermarket on my way home from work.
I froze it for the time being because it can be both boiled and frozen.
It is as hot as the label "sharp and dry" says.
It's a bit spicy, but it's not too spicy.
It is rather expensive for 100ml, but it tastes good.
I had wanted to try Kikusui Shuzo's Alpinist, but I found it at the supermarket and bought it.
It is dry, and I was not sure if it would be good or not, since I am not a fan of "funakuchi," but it is easy to drink.
The can is cute.
I wonder what my husband thinks I'm buying.
I still have some Koueikiku left in the fridge, though.
My parents' father kept it for 20-30% of the time.
It's spicy - I thought so especially since I drank it with Koei Kiku.
I only drink Otters at New Year's though.
New Year's Eve Nouveau, which I buy every year.
This year, we opened the bottle again.
It has a little acidity, but it tastes spicy.
I like it.
The picture of next year's zodiac sign...I think it's OK to leave the label since I'm a woman of the year.
At any rate, this is the first bottle for the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
I've been spending most of my time drinking beer and chuhai that I won recently, so the sake is sinking in.
Tonight we had a simple junmai sake from Gekkeikan.
...I was curious about it and thought I had finally found it, but it was still very subtle.
It was described as "gorgeous and juicy," with a rich sweetness and refreshing acidity, but I'm not a fan of this sweetness.
I don't feel like I made a mistake, but I'll drink it.
Today, I went to Tomikunishiki's new sake festival as I do every year.
This year, there was more space for tasting and many customers lined up to try the sake, but since I had no choice but to drive there, I could not get in line for the tasting.
But I could not get in line for the tasting because I had no choice but to go by car. The sake with sake lees was so dry that I thought it was too hot this year.
I opened the bottle when I got home and drank it, but the new sake is fruity and dry.
My favorite taste.
I am happy.
Yesterday and today, on my way to Kanazawa to visit an art museum, I bought a bottle of Junmai Namaizu sake from a liquor store in Omimachi Market.
It is said to be made from "Gohyakumangoku" (five hundred million stones), but the moment you put it in your mouth, it is very strong, but then it quickly goes away and the sweetness is left behind.
It's so good...I'm glad I bought it.
It's a good reward for me who drove to Kanazawa by myself and got stuck in a traffic jam on the Hokuriku Expressway.
In Kanazawa.
I drank Kaga-Tobi the other day. I don't know how well it was preserved since it wasn't at an izakaya, but it was delicious.
Tengu Mai is a little bit strong, maybe because of Yamahai.
It is not bad.
There is a young guy in front of me looking at me.
Sorry, I'm just relaxing with sake.
The traffic jam on the Hokuriku Expressway was really bad.
We were 2 hours over schedule.
I stopped by the supermarket on my way home from work and bought a local junmai ginjo nama-zake for the first time in a while.
For some reason, I rarely buy local sake because I don't like it, but it's very spicy.
I thought local sake was sweet, but....
Not bad.
I've always looked at Funakuchi and wondered about it.
I'm sensitive to brewer's alcohol... but I guess I can drink it just fine.
It's 19 degrees...
I'll put ice in it.
Oh, it might be easier to drink with ice.
I'll drink it with some black edamame beans 🍶.
I bought this Junmai Hiyoroshi by Meijo Shuzo at the supermarket.
I bought it because it was labeled as a rich, slightly dry, lukewarm sake.
It's very dry.
I want to drink it slowly.
I bought it because it was on sale at the supermarket.
I drank it cold before having it lukewarm and thought it was sweet in the mouth.
I drank it lukewarm and it was spicy and delicious.
It suddenly got cold, so I heated it up without thinking, but it warmed me up.
It's a great relief.
I bought a bottle at a drugstore I stopped by on my way home from a car inspection.
The price was about 800 yen, and it was discounted.
It is described as "rich and slightly dry"...it sure is hot.
I drink it on the rocks, but I think it's too strong.
The alcohol content is 14%, so it's not high, but it's nice.
I got the name wrong again, so I'll put it back up this time (too blurry).
I went out today and found this Hyakuninichi-shu by Kamosho Sake Brewery at a roadside station.
Yamana Sake Brewery also had it, but it was sold at a place where it was not refrigerated, so I wondered what it was. I thought to myself, "What the heck is this?
This sake is made by one person in a small sake brewery.
The rice is made from Koshihikari rice grown in the Kamosho area.
I thought it was sweet at first sip, but it was not so. After a while, it became spicy.
I feel like I'm going to get drunk. It is delicious!
I bought an instrument Masamune that I had wanted to try.
Jun Yuzu.
It's mildly sweet, a little sour, but easy to drink.
I'm really not feeling well, but just a little bit.
If I feel well, it will be gone soon.
Oh, I made a mistake again.
