2026 is already the fourth year since this sake 🍶. I feel the depth of flavor has increased. It is as astringent as ever.
This year, I want to enjoy sake while taking better care of my health and setting aside some days to rest my liver!
I hope my high school friends will also get into sake and enjoy drinking it.

I happened to have some sake from Tsuchiya Sake Brewery that I wanted to visit on my trip to Karuizawa.
Excellent freshness, tangy on the tip of the tongue, slightly carbonated, and ◎ as if it were directly pumped, which I like.

I haven't drank sake for a long time thanks to the flu, a cold, and a sinusitis, but today I opened a bottle for the first time in a long while.

Tasake was the best among the various sake prepared for the party!
The umami was overwhelmingly beautifully crafted, yet not too sweet and easy to drink.
I was able to meet my best friend's son from high school and my own son, and it was a day that made me feel the passage of time, and I hope we can continue to have a good relationship.

Celebrating my grandfather's US jubilee, we went sightseeing in Matsushima on the last day.
Whenever we visit Matsushima, we always stop by a Japanese sake shop.
While chatting with the clerk, we decided to compare and sample the sake. This is the best one among them. It is a brand of sake that is raw but aged for a year. Normally, I would open a bottle of sake right away to enjoy its freshness, but I was told that even a draft sake can be delicious if it is aged for a year!
The sake was just as he said it would be, with a very delicious flavor that had been matured while keeping the freshness in check. I was told that there were only a few bottles left at the sake shop, so I immediately bought it.
