Landing in Hiroshima after a long time I was given a variety of drinks at a Hiroshima restaurant, including Jyushiyo, but this is all that remains in evidence. It is an orthodox junmai sake, and I enjoyed it as a sleeping sake for two nights.

The rice used is Yamadanishiki produced in Abu The owner of the sake shop told me, "This is totally different from the Miyoshi I've had before. But as a Miyoshi-san fan, I couldn't help but drink it. It has a punch! It is a punch, and it hits you hard in the throat. The aftertaste is moderately bitter and tight! It can be served with a variety of dishes, but it can also be used as a food wine. It is available at ‼️

Good evening, Sana D. I see you are a Miyoshi-san guesser 🎵. I have a bottle of Miyoshi's Hana in my fridge that was recommended to me by a liquor store as a sweet sake ✨. This one seems dry to me, but I'd like to try it sometime 😊.

It's been a while since I've had a drink, but Asahi Koh is amazing! It has a solid umami and sweetness with just the right amount of acidity. It has a full-bodied taste and a clean and crisp finish. ❗️ I can't stop drinking it. ❣️ But it's so hard to find!

Happy New Year to you all: ㊗️ I have been saving up posts for 2024 since November, but since this is the first post of the new year, I'll post a "typical" sake first. Rice used is unknown. I served this sake at my parents' house on New Year's Eve, and they all thought it was "too sweet! It was a low evaluation, but it went great with sushi, or rather, gari (pickled ginger). ❣️ In the end, my partner and I drank all of it together.

New Year's Eve sake is from this long-awaited man. I could finally drink it! I've been slacking off on posting this year, and at this point, I've accumulated about 2 months worth of sake. But I'll post this one first, just in case I get around to it. This one is so fresh that it's almost like it's a draft (⁉️) and has a fresh citrusy bitterness to it. I think it would be even better if I let it sit for a couple of days to let the sweetness develop, but it's so good, I've had the bottle open for about an hour now and it's almost gone... I can certainly understand why it would be hard to find. Well, the year 2024 is almost over, I would like to greet the new year with gratitude for having been able to maintain my health and drinking plenty of sake without any problems this year. I wish you all a happy new year. Postscript Three days after posting, it was discovered that some photos were not uploaded properly...

Yamada Nishiki is produced in Ashibetsu, Hokkaido Last year, Yamadanishiki from Hokkaido was difficult to obtain, but this year, I have the impression that there are a good number of them, and most liquor stores have them on their shelves. This year, however, there seems to be a good number of them, and most of the liquor stores seem to have them on hand. It is also juicy and has a nice sharpness. ‼️
