I drank the other day and forgot to post this. I have gained 2 kilograms and have a belly, so I refrain from drinking alcohol on weekdays 😅. I have some at home that I haven't opened yet, so I want to drink on Saturday and Sunday 🍶. Well, this time we drank Blackphoenix and Kangiku for SpecialYell 😀. I think I've had Blackphoenix before, but I don't have a picture of it, so let's say this is my first time. The menu at the restaurant described it as muscat-scented and refreshing, but I personally found it to be berry-scented. (It may get closer to Muscat when the temperature range is cooler or higher. I don't get tired of drinking it because it's so sharp 😊.

Not a special occasion, but today we open a bottle of limited edition sake The "Junmai" category has won the Yamaguchi Prefecture Governor's Award three times in the past five years. This is the reason why it is called "No.1 in Yamaguchi Prefecture. This "Yamadanishiki 50 Junmai Ginjo" is the highest grade of commercially available sake (junmai-shu and junmai-ginjo). This time, we were able to have Mr. Iwasaki, the brewer, present us with a bottle of the brewery's 2027 entry (tobira-torikiri, bag-hanging). This sake is not for sale, but only a very small amount of it was taken for display at the sake competition. It is only available at our store in Japan. This sake is classified as an entry in the "Junmai" category of the Yamaguchi Prefecture sake competition. This is the first shipment and a very small amount of this limited edition sake, which is rarely seen in our store. The above is quoted from Yajima Sake Brewery. Yamaguchi has a lot of good sake, but Choyo Fukumusume is a first for me! Fruity ginjo aroma before drinking. Sweetness spreads on the palate, but it clears up quickly and is very refreshing! I never get tired of drinking it, that's because I put a lot of time and effort into it 😆. I'm working 6 straight days this week, but I'm sure I'll be able to start working hard again tomorrow after drinking some good sake 😊.

I'm working 6 straight days this week😔. I worked hard thinking I'm going to open a bottle of rice wine today 💪. First time I bought Tasake at Yajima Sake Shop because it was available for purchase if you are a member with no strings attached. On the way home, I bought seared vinegared mackerel and sashimi of yellowtail, and opened the bottle with a smile on my face. Light and light with a subdued aroma. The cooler temperature makes it drink more refreshing and goes well with sashimi😊.

The photo is blurry as usual😔. The pictures aren't great, but the drinks are good, so let's call it good! It was easy to drink even though it was 17% alcohol with a sweet and tangy nigori flavor.

This is the one I bought at the brewery's online store and brought as a souvenir, but they let me taste a little 😀. Kotobuki is made in a village next to my own country (Hirotogawa too) and is a delicious sake! Kame-no-o is also grown in the village and is a terroir product. The gentle sweetness and delicious rice flavor filled my mouth, and I felt it would go well with anything as a food sake! Personally, Suzunoi is my first choice👍. Repeat for sure 😊.

I haven't had a drink at my favorite restaurant in a long time 😀. This is my first Shibotan. I like the retro label. Although it is a honjozo, it is carefully crafted as if it were an exhibit sake. It has an apple-like aroma at first, and the aftertaste is refreshing, while still having the alcoholiness of a honjozo. It was very delicious, and the careful craftsmanship was evident in the taste.

This is Red Diamond. That label design is insanely beautiful! This one also has the freshness that only unfiltered, unpasteurized sake can provide. The aroma and sweetness are like strawberries! It's so easy to drink, you'd think it was low alcohol. I personally recommend drinking it at a cooler temperature to feel the light sweetness😊.

I've been looking forward to drinking more Kanchiku today😁. Let's start with Nagi. It has a fresh and crisp taste and a refreshing sweetness. It has a grapefruit-like aroma and a bitterness that tightens the taste and is delicious♪ I would like to pair it with bamboo shoot tempura😊.

Highball today! Highball today... Don't worry! It's sake! I'm drunk again today. Today, we're going to drink a special sake for highballs. It's from Hayashi Honten, famous for Hyakujuro. I've had it before, but I forgot to take a picture💦. It's very smoky and makes a great highball with a squeeze of lemon 😆. Whiskey highballs are great, but sake highballs are also recommended😊.

Today, I found tempura of young bamboo and rape blossoms in the deli at the supermarket, and I had to open that one to buy it. Yes, that one. It's Tenbi's Momoten🍑 It's supposed to be Momoten because of the peach-colored label, but it smelled like peaches! (That's what someone else posted, too.) The sweetness and pizzazz fills your mouth! It's so easy to drink that I wondered if it was low alcohol. It's so easy to drink that I thought it was low alcohol. It went very well with the rape blossom tempura 😊.

Today is Miyaizumi's first day of Shibori! My sister gave it to me as a gift 😀. The freshness and the flavor of the rice came with a bang, then the acidity and the sharpness. I knew it was good Miyaizumi! It's easy to drink when it's cold and snowy, but when it's cool and refreshing, the flavor of the rice swells up. I don't particularly choose to drink them, but the percentage of Miyazen and Collage is high! I don't particularly choose them, but I have a high percentage of Miyazen and Collage!

Today, I bought a bottle of Banjo Kotobuki at a liquor store on my way home from work. It was my first time drinking Panjo Kotobuki, but it was also my first time drinking fizzy Kijyo-shu. I was expecting it to be sweet, but it is not. It has a mild alcohol content of 7 degrees. The aroma, sweetness, and fizziness are gentle😊. I think it goes well with tempura 🍤 It was my first time tasting it and it was a lot of firsts!

Now that we've prevented the spread of the disease, and we're starting to see shadows of the infection around us, this week we're going to start drinking at home! Today I'd like to share with you a birthday present I received from a friend, a bottle of chrysanthemum 39😊. It was a month late because our schedules didn't line up, but it's nice to be celebrated by a friend from college even at my age. I've been thinking about buying one, but I gave up on it because I bought too many other things, so I was excited to receive it🤩. It has a gentle ginjo aroma and the clear texture and flavor of rice that only Junmai Daiginjo can provide. The sweetness and tingling sensation flowed smoothly. I knew Kankiku was good😆. I feel relieved from the fatigue of a week.

I forgot to post this last time💦. It's been a while since I've had one of these! It's the same as the one I drank before, but it has a mild sweetness and umami that lingers like sake. I don't know why I don't remember the bill, but I do remember the trip home lol. I have the receipt, so I paid. I drank too much💦. I'm glad I remembered the taste😊.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not💦. I bought these poisonous apples during the Halloween season. It was left in the fridge, but when a friend came to my house, I opened it! Ripe and sweet aroma! When I drank it, the sweet and sour taste came first, but I could also smell the oak and feel its weight! This was a great match for smoked snacks!

Happy New Year! I look forward to working with you again this year. m(_ _)m My resolution for this year is to be able to take more beautiful pictures! I'm sorry that I'm not very good at it. The picture is no good, but the first drink of the new year is a very good one! (It's not insanely expensive) Nakakumi Junmai Daiginjo! It was my first time having sake from Fukuoka! It was chilled in the refrigerator, so the aroma and sweetness were very slight at first, but as it got hotter, the clear flavor and sweet aroma became a perfect balance! Personally, I'd recommend chilling it in the cooler. It was served at a convenience store, but it went well with an omelet (dashi maki might have been better).

This is the end of the year's drinking! I bought this for Christmas but never opened it lol It's nigori (cloudy), but not too dark, and the high rice polishing rate gives it a clean sweetness and a pleasant fizzy feeling! It's so good that it's gone in one bottle! Thank you again for all your help this year! I'll be back to check out your posts and learn more about your delicious sakes! So, have a happy new year!

Here's another one I forgot to post. You said you had a silver sea I was debating whether to buy or not, so I asked for it right away! Because it's undiluted sake, it has a fresh aroma and refreshing taste! Personally, it makes me want to eat takowasa and squid sashimi!
