A closing toast with a sake recommended by a friend. It is slightly cloudy, fruity and easy to drink. We had it with deep-fried tofu, but it didn't overpower the taste of the dish.
Was it because it was after the Shinsei that I could feel the strength of the sake? A rough sake after a beautiful sake. It goes well with food with strong taste.
A popular sake, but new to me. It is clean and slightly sweet. A beautiful sake without being sticky. Like the bottle, it has a wine-like feel and would go well with Western food.
The second drink. This is the first time to drink sake from Shimane. Even though it's a Junmai Ginjo, it's harder to drink than the Takayasu we just had. Of course it is delicious.
The first drink at an izakaya in Osaka Station Building. My first Tottori sake. It's so refreshing and easy to drink that I can't believe it has a sake content of +11.
A friend gave me this slightly cloudy, fizzy sake. It has a moderate acidity and is refreshing, but it also has a sweetness that is not sticky. Last year I spilled the bottle, but this year I was able to open it safely. We served it with scallop sashimi, but it would also go well with Western food.
Since the state of emergency was declared, we quietly went to Baruchika in Umeda for a quick drink. I bought it because of the design of the cup, but it was cute and tasty (not expensive, 300 yen!). I was satisfied.
This is the third of three Zao sent to me by a friend for New Year's. It's delicious and easy to drink, and I drank it all up without even tasting it 😰I'm glad it's sweet but not sticky.
This is the first time I drank "Hana" in about 10 years. I don't get tired of drinking it, and the cost performance is good, but it's not easy to get in Osaka. It is said to be the most popular sake for Murakami residents to drink at night. The seasonal sake "Shiboritate" is an unpasteurized version of "Hana", so it's better to enjoy "Shiboritate" now, but even if you don't, "Hana" is available all year round, even if you have to order it.
