This is the sake of my memories, the sake that lightly dragged me into the sake swamp.
It has a complex flavor that gently and beautifully mixes acidity, sweetness, umami, and bitterness, and a soft but firm body that is delicious both on its own and with food.
At the end of the year a few years ago, I went to Hankyu Umeda to buy a souvenir for my trip home and was allowed to try a sample at a pop-up in the sake department. All of the Kariho sake was delicious, but this one really hit the spot for my taste buds.
As an amateur sake drinker, I still have a lot of sake that I've never tried and would like to try even now, several years later, but this one I repeated twice.
