The aroma of the food was very strong. But it is sweet and gentle, not harsh. It has just the right amount of maturity. Goes well with Nozawana. It softens the salty taste of Nozawana. I managed to get over the train when I was with Yuka-chan, but I did it on the way home from drinking with the second daughter (I am the eldest) of the Otsubonez (three bureau sisters) in my department. I lost my memory at the next station where we sat down, saying "I might fall asleep if I get to sit down. Why didn't I wake up 5 minutes before? The train in the opposite direction was the last of the day and I had to wait 20 minutes. I managed to only sleep on the platform. Then I had a blast sleeping in the cab as well... Now, to get back on track, here is the evening drink of the day. The aroma was sweet, but when I drank it, the sweetness was not as strong as the aroma, and there was a good balance of sweetness, sourness, and finally bitterness. It went very well with a little bit of shibi-shibi (bean-curd soup with red pepper paste).

This Sake has a full mouth feel and some sweetness at the beginning. The flavor of this Sake is bigger than other Seitoku Sake but it still has good balance. Very good with big flavor foods like mapo tofu.

This Sake has an initial sweetness and a full mouth feel. There is a hint of cedar as the alcohol clears my pallet. Very good with big flavor foods like yakiniku. Seitoku has many Sake that I enjoy.

This Sake is light, refreshing and easy to drink. I am revisiting this Sake because it has been a while since I last drank it. I enjoy the mild flavors of apple and melon with a clean, short aftertaste. This is a refreshing and well balanced Sake.

Rooster Yoemon from Kawamura Sake Brewery in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. This sake is famous for its sour taste, which is rare in Iwate Prefecture. I drank it for the first time at a store in Hanamaki and was surprised by the sourness. It seemed to be quite a challenge since Iwate is generally known for its sweet and tasty sake. Aizan sake, still stocked but a little interrupted for refrigerator reasons😅. Shochiku Ume, but brewed in Nada, not Fushimi. There's a big building that looks like a factory near Sunshine Wharf.
