It was sitting in the refrigerated section of a local co-op and there was only one bottle left, so I bought it without a second thought. It was delicious! The first sip has a hint of sweetness, but once it crosses the throat, it is bitter and refreshing. I love it. And I was impressed by the coop's nostalgia..! I checked the brewery and found that it is located in Niigata-Tsugawa. I used to love the hot springs in that area (around Sakibana) and stayed there many times, so I feel nostalgic. I would love to go back.

I asked him, "Okay, what time? I asked him what time, and he said noon. There are not many places near my house where you can drink from noon, so we ended up going to Noge. First "shellfish" restaurant I've ever been to. Kikuyu with hot sake (it was a little cold and rainy) 🍶. My oldest son's wife is a sake drinker, so it was perfect! This is my first time drinking it! @sakebar Fukuzo Fire-brewed sake using Fukuoka Prefecture's original yeast called F44. Slightly sweet aroma of 🍍 on the nose. The palate is slightly sweet with a hint of 🍍. The aroma is as if it was made with hana-yosuyu in mind. However, the aroma is weak because it is fire-aged. The sweetness is also weak due to the weak aroma. I am a little curious to see how it would be like if it were a fresh sake. It was delicious ✨🍍.

National Sake Fair 2025 Day 2 ㊱ Fukuoka ① Kiku Bijin Sake Brewery in Miyama City This is the first time I have heard of this sake brewery! According to honda's post, Kitahara Hakushu's sister married into the Kikubijin Brewery, so the brewery has a connection with Kitahara Hakushu. They sell vegetables, so they have a large selection of vegetable-based soft drinks. They mainly have local Shizuoka sake, but they also have a lot of Omuraya sake from the famous Omuraya brewery, which is famous for Wakatake and Onna no Nyokase 🧐 This is the first time I've had anything from this brewery. This Sake has a full mouth feel and some sweetness at the beginning. The flavor of this Sake is bigger than other Seitoku Sake but it still has good balance. Very good with big flavor foods like mapo tofu.
This Sake has an initial sweetness and a full mouth feel. There is a hint of cedar as the alcohol clears my pallet. Very good with big flavor foods like yakiniku. Seitoku has many Sake that I enjoy.
This Sake is light, refreshing and easy to drink. I am revisiting this Sake because it has been a while since I last drank it. I enjoy the mild flavors of apple and melon with a clean, short aftertaste. This is a refreshing and well balanced Sake.

I bought this at the brewery's direct sales counter on my GW trip to Nagano! I had a great shopping experience with the courteous staff and went home feeling great! The aroma is what you would call "sake" with a hint of alcohol. It also has a grassy nuance. Immediately after taking a sip, there is a pleasant sourness that lasts until the end. Of course there is sweetness, but if anything, it is more umami. The bitterness is gentle at the end. It has a juicy atmosphere with acidity as if it is made from a sake yeast yeast. Kurosawa is a brewery that specializes in making sake from the "nama-hashiroshi," so I was convinced after drinking it that it was made from the "nama-hashiroshi. I was told at the brewery that the sake has an excellent balance of the four tastes of sweetness, flavor, acidity, and bitterness, and this is exactly what it tastes like. It has a good acidity, but it is not showy at all. It is a sake that goes well with any meal, and I am sure I will become a fan of Kurosawa Shuzo after drinking it. This is their regular product, so they are a brewery of extraordinary quality. It goes well with shime saba (mackerel), salty yakitori, grilled fresh onions, and omelettes! It goes with everything!
