Junmai Genzake is a limited edition Junmai sake for fall. The bottle is filled with prints of autumn leaves, a full moon, and deer, making the dining table autumn just by placing the bottle on it. It has a thick, distinctive aroma and a robust flavor, and is truly junmai-harazake. Perfect with motsu nabe.
Reijin Daiginjo Harajinjo-genshu, 88 nights in a bottle
The aroma is quite strong (like steamed chestnuts for some reason 🌰).
Unlike the aroma, it's pineappley and gorgeous! The umami is strong though. But the umami flavor is strong, but it disappears early.
The sharpness is good! (You don't feel the alcohol taste unexpectedly).
When you find something like this in a store, you just have to buy it 😙🍶♪
This sake has matsutake mushrooms in it, perfect for fall.
I'm only familiar with matsutake mushrooms from Eiyoen's soup, so I don't really know how it smells, but it has a strange and interesting aroma.
It's not fruity, it's not a harsh sake aroma, what is it? 🤔 Is this matsutake mushroom?
The sake itself is very clear.
I had it cold and it was soft and easy to drink.
It does not have a sharp taste and is light like water, but it warms you up warmly.
I enjoyed eating the leftover matsutake mushrooms at the end.
Good evening, Pon-chan 🌟!
I chose this sake because I wanted to take a picture of it with a nice shape in it 😆 It was surprisingly crunchy and enjoyable 👍.
And I was having so much fun choosing, that I attracted the attention of the general gallery, which somehow contributed to sales. Next time, I'm going to shop cool 😆.
This is a summer sake, bought during a trip in August. It is the second brewery of the five Suwa breweries.
The label says fruity, refreshing, light, etc., but what?
It has a packaged sake-like sake smell and doesn't feel like a ginjo? It happens sometimes, this kind of thing. Is it original or has the quality changed in a strange way? I don't know in every single case 🤷♂️.
I bought it on the last day of my trip and kept it in the fridge the whole time, so there should be no fault here. For the most part, it doesn't need to be refrigerated.
The Reito brewery had a large parking lot and sold beer as well as sake. When I asked for a quick recommendation, I was introduced to a standard sake or summer sake, which I bought. This brewery also went through a civil rehabilitation about 10 years ago. Sake is a tough business.
Shinshu Gokura was running an interesting program where you could buy a 2,000 yen Gokuraku set and tour the breweries for a sake tasting, but since I was not allowed to taste the sake at Corona and was given a cup of sake, and since I could not use the Shinshu Wari coupon, it seemed stupid to buy sake, so I just went to the brewery and bought the sake as usual. I could use the coupon for regular purchases. I would like to stay nearby after the Corona restrictions are over.
500 (300ml) including tax
This is a standard junmai sake from Reijin Shuzo, one of the five Suwa breweries. It is brewed with subterranean water from the Kirigamine Plateau and has a mellow taste, just like its name.
Junmai nigori sake from Reito.
I have not had nigori sake very often, so this was a new experience for me.
I guess it is like a stronger sake version of amazake.
It tastes sweet and amazake-like at the beginning, and the sake flavor develops a little later.
It has a mild taste. Since it is nigori sake, it can be enjoyed in various ways, such as drinking only the top clear liquid, or mixing it with other ingredients and drinking it as a normal nigori sake.
It also has an interesting texture, smooth and creamy.
It is the type of sake you might want to drink slowly after taking a bath.
Shinshu sake No. 6 is an extra edition❗️
We got Matsutake Mushroom Sake of Reijin, which is only available in Shinshu.
500ml with matsutake mushrooms!
Alcohol content: 14%.
At first, at room temperature, it had a slight aroma of matsutake mushrooms.
After all, it should be heated up.
The aroma of matsutake mushrooms comes out.
It smells exactly like an autumn sake!
I'm looking forward to the autumn ingredients coming out.
I'm looking forward to it!

First time drinking out in a while
We started with Reijin 😆.
It's called "Reijin Dry Goku" and it's as light and dry as you'd expect 🤗.
As a lover of sweet and savory, I don't usually drink it, but it was perfect with the grilled meat I paired it with 🥰.
At the tasting. I had been curious about Reijin for a while, so I tasted it with the intention of buying it, but I couldn't find anything that stuck out to me so I didn't buy it.
It was fresh and fruity, but it tasted like a common taste.... I would like to try it if there are other specs. The brewer was also very reluctant.
