Today, I went to Chino City, my former place of residence. I went for a drive because my car, which I purchased at a car dealership in Chino City, was due for a routine inspection! This time, I held out for Suwa Gozo and stocked up at home. I had a bottle of Reijin Junmai Ginjo along with the Sanzokuyaki that I procured at the supermarket. After all, the Kirigamine subterranean water from the Suwa area is delicious.
A bottle of Reijin was chosen as a souvenir from each of the five breweries in Suwa after a tour of the breweries and tasting.
The mild sweetness is typical of junmai sake. It has a robust flavor.
After walking around Suwa Gokura, I bought this one for drinking in my room. It has a heavy, robust flavor with a hint of sourness. Since it is Children's Day, I paired it with Kashiwa Mochi. The freshness of the oak leaves enhances the flavor of nigori sake.
Nagano, Suwa City. Reijin Sake Brewery Co.
Reijin Junmai Sake Mellow
I bought this sake at a tasting event at Hankyu, although it was not at the Nagano Sake event.
It is served cold.
When poured into a glass, the yellowish color is clearly recognizable.
The top aroma is slightly matured.
I read on the Internet that it is aged for about half a year.
From the slightly viscous mouthfeel, the rice flavor is immediately felt on the tongue as it flows into the mouth. It is a richly concentrated and matured flavor, and its synergy with the sweetness makes it swell up firmly.
There is a slight aroma of maturity in the nose, but the bitterness and pungency are mild and rounded by the maturity.
It is exactly my image of a mellow sake.
I kept it at room temperature for about 5 months because it was fire-aged, but there was no unpleasant twinge at all.
I was allowed to taste many others, but this one was exceptional and my favorite.
Ingredients: Rice (Nagano Prefecture), Rice malted rice (Nagano Prefecture)
Rice polishing ratio: 65
Alcohol content: 15%.
Good evening, Nemuchi 😃.
I was surprised that you often come to department stores but not to traveling SAKE 😳I have the impression that the people at the brewery here are quite salty 😅.
Good evening, bouken🌛I see you come to the department store often😊I guess the traveling SAKE is a staffing issue or something 🤔Perhaps I wasn't from the brewery when I bought it, so I didn't have the image of a salty person 😅.
This is also a tasting only. After tasting two kinds of sake, we were at the end of our tasting time. We visited Honkin only. Masumi and Maihime were packed in a cool bag to take home. Still, it's a great place. Suwa is a wonderful place.
Sweetness with a banana-like fruity feel trompe l'oeil.
The alcohol and acidity make it not too bitter.
It is a strong sake with a high alcohol content, so we enjoyed it with chicken breast sauteed in butter shoyu and carbonated water. It is a very drinkable sake.

Reijin Shuzo
Reijin Junmai Ginjo-shu Autumn Agari
This brewery is located in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture.
It has a fruity aroma and elegant taste.
The taste is well-balanced with a fruity aroma and elegant acidity.
#Nihon-shu
Limited edition by Suwa no Reijin.
Smells like amazake (sweet sake).
Taste of amazake and strong alcohol.
There is a lingering lactic acidity.
It is easy to drink, but the strong alcohol taste will make you drunk soon. We enjoyed it with Korean-style sweet and spicy lotus root kinpira.

We bought this Aki-agari when we visited the five Suwa breweries in November.
Yesterday it was snowing and it was ❄️ cold, so we had it warmed up.
My wife said she didn't like it when it was cold because it was too much like sake.
It tastes better when heated up.
Happy New Year! I am the leader of the "Zukudase! I am the leader of the "Sake of Shinshu" group! We will continue to love Nagano sake in the New Year and look forward to serving you in the New Year. The first sake of the new year is Suwa's Reijin Junmai Ginjo! I made it with Kikkoman's Uchi-no-Gohan Fluffy Chicken with Spiced Negi-Dare as a snack.
