I bought it because of the oddity of the label. It's a cab driver's brewery, so maybe that's normal. I wondered what "after death" meant, but it was a motto from a signboard of Christ. They are rewriting the Bible into sake, aren't they? It must be fun to think about this kind of thing. It must be a different world from mine, where decisions are made in a conference room. And the sake is delicious. I can drink it all the time. Maybe it's because it doesn't have a sharp taste. It's perfect for drinking on a Friday night while relaxing and watching Amazon Prime.

It is a posthumous mackerel😁. The original is a so-called Bible sign commonly seen mainly in the Tohoku region. It is a tribute to the "Saba (Bible) after death" 😎. It has an overwhelming presence when lined up in liquor stores. The specs are serious: Iwate rice polished to 55% and brewed with No. 6 yeast. It was produced in September 2023.😎 It is a very popular sake. First, it is served cold. The appearance is crystal with gold. The aroma is typical of sake, including nuts and soy sauce with a slight hint of maturity, and the aroma has a sourness and sweetness that cohabit, like plum wine. It starts with a moderate sweetness and umami, followed by a strong acidity that spreads in the mouth, although it is not stimulating, and then goes up the back of the throat and into the nose. Like the aroma, it has a taste of both sourness and sweetness like plum wine, and the aftertaste is moderate. Serve hot 🍶. The aroma is of nuts and grains with a savory flavor, which combined with the sweetness and sourness of the plum wine flavor, is quite good. In the mouth, a full sweetness and acidity permeate the flavor. While the thick umami and full-bodied sweetness of the rice spread out as much as possible, the acidity passes through to the nose and finishes crisply. The lingering aftertaste is gradually long. You can enjoy the sensation of warm, thick liquid soaking through 😊. It was delicious even for me, a beginner in heated sake: ☺️ Thanks for the treat 🍶.

Good morning, Aladdin 😀. That's a great bold name for a great drink 🤣. I was curious to try it too, but it was already sold out and I couldn't take it home 😅. I'm more and more disappointed because the heated sake looks so impressive 😢.

Hi Aladdin! Yes, it looks delicious heated up. I'd like to try it if I have a chance to drink it. By the way, is that a tin cup? By the way, is that a tin cup?

Good evening, Yasube 😃. The Bible sign series also has a sake called "Reconcile with the Cat" by Miyoshikiku in collaboration with Kikumori 😁I think there is a liquor store in Osaka that carries Kikumori, so I will check it out when I get a chance 😊.

Good evening, Aladdin-san. I'm taking it home with me too because I think it has a flavor that can't be expressed well only with cold sake while drinking it posthumously at Haru 😆 Asano. I see that heated sake is 👌. Looking forward to opening the bottle 😊.

Hi Hirupeko, good evening 😃I opened the bottle early because I ended up buying it during the purchase limit 😅. I thought this sake was heated 🍶I'm curious about the temperature range you haven't tried yet. I'm looking forward to your evaluation now 😊.

Next is "Kitakami Yakkyoku" in the middle of the Takudora set. The initial aroma is slightly sweet and sour with a hint of acidity. In the mouth, there is a characteristic sourness and sweetness with a thick, thick texture. Aladdin reported on this earlier, and the expression "acidity like plums and plums" made sense to me, but it was such a characteristic acidity. It was quite tasty 🍶. The last Takudra in the Takudra set was from the same lot as the one I had the other day, so I omitted it 😌🍶. I heard that when Takudra first started selling, there were some suspicions that it was a blend of tubs purchased, but the sake we drank this time tasted just fine, except for the Takudra. On the other hand, I think it's great if you can blend and get this taste consistently 🍶✨.

I forgot the Takudra set😅. Let's start with the first one on the left, "Denki Bosatsu". The top aroma is sweet with a hint of maturity. In the mouth, it has an elegant sweetness and umami that is typical of daiginjos, while being moderately sweet. Although it has been four years since the first tank was opened, it was delicious without any peculiarities.

Comparison of "Sake for SABAKI after death", "Viktor Nage kara no Jujigake", and "Peasant Odori". The "Au for Sabaki after Death" had a slight, honey-like aroma that lingered. Perhaps because it was not yet dead, it was a gentle drink without the impression of being under judgment.

Next is the middle "Viktor throw to knee cross lock". The top aroma is like rice and koji mold with a slight acidity. In the mouth, there is a slight sweetness of rice with a nigori rice flavor. It finishes with a hint of acidity. It was refreshing and delicious. I think it ranks high among the nigori-style new sake I have had recently.

I've been to the Asano Sake Shop Hamamatsucho to compare the weird label sake 🍶. We started with the first one on the left, "Au for postmortem saké". The top aroma is slightly sweet with a hint of maturity. In the mouth, it has a moderate sweetness, a strong umami, and a beautiful acidity that is typical of No. 6 yeast, and it finishes with a crisp finish. It has a strange label, but it is a slightly dry sake that tastes good in general.

Sake received at Asano's Kikumori Fair ⑤🍶Last. President Fujimura, who loves the Somin Matsuri very much, is also an avid SNS user. He posts detailed information on social networking sites about everything from daily sake brewing to evening meetings and his hobby of playing Splatoon. He is an honest brewer, but his comments on social networking sites are frank, radical, and cynical. When he is at an event in his hometown Iwate and only sake from outside of Iwate is offered, he mutters, "#⚪︎," or writes on a sign on the wall at the Asano Fair, "What is that enzyme agent and does it taste good? and so on 😁. The "Hyakusei Odori" is a sake brewed with Rikuwa 132 produced in Towa Town, Hanamaki City, using the Yamahai brewing method. The "Hyakuso Odori" is a local performance to pray for a good harvest in the area surrounding Hanamaki City. This sake is also shipped after 9 months of storage from the top of the tank. The appearance is crystal with amber tints. The aroma is typical of pure Yamahai junmai, with a sour, sour aroma of mushrooms, sour cream, and iodine. The beautifully understated yet full-flavored sweet-amami flavor spreads and sharpens with a pleasantly stimulating acidity. The aftertaste is long and lingering. It is a very Yamahai-like Yamahai, and I wanted to try heating it up. Kikumori, all of them were carefully made delicious sake. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Sake from the Kikumori Fair at Asano Sake Shop Umeda 🍶. Kikumori Sake Brewery was devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, when its brewery was partially destroyed, making brewing impossible for a time. In 2014, the company borrowed a brewery that was going out of business in the neighboring city of Hanamaki with CF financing, and restarted and began brewing as an all pure rice brewery in Hanamaki City. Currently, the reconstruction of the original brewery in Kitakami City is almost finished, and this season is the last for sake brewing in Hanamaki-shi. Finally, brewing is scheduled to resume in February 2024 at the original Kikumori Brewery's reconstructed warehouse! We are looking forward to it 😊. The brand name "Viktor-nage kara no jujigatame" comes from the finishing combo of President Fujimura, who was also a martial artist. The face I've seen somewhere has a line in the eye, but this is the original story of the "Viktor method" (= a sales technique where the same sake is sold under similar different labels). This is the original story of the "Viktor method. The third and fourth pictures have nothing to do with this fair, but they are concrete examples of the Viktor Business Method 😁. The appearance is a mist white that retains a sense of transparency. The aroma of cooked rice and freshly pounded rice cake is rich with a hint of fruity flavor. From the feeling of gas that makes you shiver, the umami spreads with a slight bitter astringency, and it finishes with a transparent and beautiful sweetness. Not dry but not sweet. Very tasty. ☺️

Sake from the Kikuzakari Fair at Asano Sake Shop Umeda (3) 🍶. Cab Driver" is a representative sake that has grown to the point where it can be said that Kikuzakari is known for this sake. As proof, it was sold out on the first day of the fair at the Umeda store! Even though we have one more week to go! Cab Driver was the result of a conversation over drinks with Yoshiki Takahashi, a designer in the movie industry. Although it is easy to be distracted by the name and label design, the contents are also full of Mr. Fujimura's character: the sake rice, koji, and yeast are all Iwate junmai sake. Specifically, the sake rice is 100% edible Iwate "Kakehashi" rice, the yeast is Iwate Prefecture's original "Yuko no Koi," and even the koji is Iwate Prefecture's original "Reimei Hiraizumi. It is full of local love. The aroma is gentle and discreet with a nice fruity flavor. On the palate, there is a smooth umami and a dandy bitterness, from which a slight sweetness spreads and the bitterness and acidity kick in. While the sweet umami and bitterness are in harmony, it also has the impact typical of nama-zake. It is an anachronistic expression, but it is a manly sake. Very tasty. ☺️ I heard that it tastes good heated up, so I thought I would like to buy a four-pack bottle and drink it carefully at home.

Sake received at the Kikuzakari Fair at Asano Sake Shop Umeda (2) 🍶. Kikuzakari's sake bottles are designed by Mr. Fujimura, who is an avant-garde, underground and subculture-loving person, with his taste in full bloom, and the sake's hard-edgedness is not even slightly apparent. The bottle design is a perfect example of the Japanese taste for sake. The sake bottles more than adequately embody the characteristics of Mr. Fujimura, whose roots lie in areas such as video games and martial arts, which are different from the typical Japanese sake world. This is Kitakami Yakkyoku. It is a junmai sake made from 100% Kame-no-o from Kitakami City, polished to 55% and brewed with Kyokai No. 6 yeast. The aroma is again typical of sake, but it is not unpleasant, perhaps because it is unadulterated junmai sake, and has a gentle and elegant sake aroma. The taste is characterized by acidity, with a taste of plums and plums, and a gentle finish. The aftertaste is medium with a slight hush. Interesting. ☺️ This sake is delicious on its own, but I'm curious to see what it would be like with food. It might go well with vinegared octopus or pickled plum rice balls 🤔.

Sake (1) received at the Kikuzakari fair at Asano Sake Shop Umeda. Kikuzakari Sake Brewery was founded in 1894 in Kitakami City in inland Iwate Prefecture. The brewery's fifth president, Takuya Fujimura, who has been the brewer since 2003 after the sudden death of his predecessor, is a hard-core sake brewer that releases all of its sake as pure rice sake, pressed in the tank, and unfiltered. Mr. Fujimura became the brewer at the age of 30, and last year marked his 20th anniversary. Congratulations on your belated success. ㊗️ First up is the Junmai Daiginjo "Denki Bosatsu". Named after part of the name of a work by a manga artist that President Fujimura loves, this sake invites you to buy a packet. It has a characteristic aroma with a strong sake-like character, with the habit of being an aged sake. But it was aged for about 4 years or less, and was bottled on February 24, 2020 😳. The taste has a soft attack of umami and acidity, followed by a sweetness lurking in the background that emerges in the middle to end of the bottle, which is also unique. It has a nice sharpness, with a lingering sweetness and a fruity after-flavor. The opposite of the order you would normally perceive in a normal sake😳. The sweetness is deeply felt as you continue drinking. I thought it was a deep sake that you need to buy a bottle and face it carefully, drink more of it or drink it warmed 🍶.
