A little sweetness and a touch of bitterness added to pineapple and peach. Refreshing taste. Low alcohol but very drinkable.
When the temperature rises a little, it becomes refreshingly sweet.
I bought this sake at an event held at Hanshin Department Store.
The photo shows only a small portion of the selection, but there were so many that it was hard to choose just one.
It is not written on the bottle, but according to the POP at the store, it had a sake degree of +6, right?
The retro-looking label with "Sake-Oh" written on it is cool. Like a pirate king or adventure king.
It has a sweet taste with a little bit of floral flavor at the beginning. The second half is sharp and sharply pungent. I think it has a big range of taste impression from the beginning to the end.
It is spicy, but has a nice aroma and a strong umami flavor. It tastes sweeter than when just opened.
I was wondering what the same company that did Tenka and Shihu would do with the Meimon Shukai now that they've taken over the business? I was wondering what they were going to do with the prestigious sake associations, and then they released it 😊.
Slightly effervescent, sweet and sour. Is it white malted rice? It's so acidic that I thought it was white malted rice. It also has a slightly dry atmosphere.
It has a unique taste, but it is delicious.
I wonder if the product for the Meimon Shukai that was sold before was Yuyamanishiki, but instead of using Yuyamanishiki, they used Gohyakumangoku to separate it from Honami.
Refreshing, sweet and sour.
It has a stronger apple taste than the fire-brewed Apple Pom Pom I had before. The alcohol content is low at 7 degrees, so it is like a juice.
Although the alcohol content is low, it is delicious and has a green apple taste.
I didn't know this was a joint development with Motox. I didn't know that. It's the same as Iori and Iyano.
It is said to be the oldest brewery in Miyagi Prefecture. Fresh and mellow. The acidity is strong. I wonder if it is better to let it sit for a while after opening it.
As expected, sweetness appeared on the 3rd day. I wonder if Houyou tastes better on the third day 🤔.
Good evening, bouken 😃.
This is another sake I've never seen 😅I see that even the oldest brewery in Miyagi prefecture is making modern style sake 😊 Looks delicious 😋.
Basically, you can only buy this sake at the brewery, but it was sold at the Hanshin Department Store in Nishinomiya.
It is a relatively new brewery, founded in 2005. It was spun off from the Osawa Brewery (now Osawa Honke Brewery), which is located next door.
It seems that the two breweries were separated due to differences in direction, and they do not get along well with each other despite being neighbors.
Osawa Honke Shuzo's brand name is Houmusume. It is the only active wooden brewery in Nada Gogo.
A peculiar aroma. It has a thick mouthfeel. Slightly sweet and nutty. The nuttiness becomes stronger in the latter half of the bottle, and the taste is sharp and clean. It is a bit on the dry side, but I prefer it to the Shiboritate Junmai Ginjo I had before. I prefer the Shiboritate Junmai Ginjo I had before. Well, maybe it has a little bit of an aged feel.
I drank junmai ginjo 4 years ago, so it's possible that my taste has changed...
Good morning bouken 😃
The original owner would not be amused if it was independent and next to it, the name Kurazaku was also named Osawa 🤣It's good to see new breweries being created, but I wish they would take on more challenges anyway 😆.
Hi Rafa 😃
They are right next to each other, so it's convenient to haggle 😁.
Houmusume has added sugar and Tokuwaka is mainly junmai, so maybe they are well separated 🤔I think that's the cause of the split 😅.
It's gassy and schwaggy. The aroma is quite fruity.
The aroma is quite fruity, and the taste is refreshing, somewhere between dry and sweet. I have the impression that it hits the perfect balance between dry and sweet.
The impression of "Gohkei-shiki" has been improved.
I can't drink it because I don't usually see it 😅.
The aroma is already highly acidic. When you drink it, it tastes mildly sweet with yogurt and yakult-like nuances. Interesting taste and delicious.
It's not sold very often (I usually only see it at Yodobashi), so I don't get to drink it very often, but so far I haven't had any Tamanjoken hassles.
Miyakotsuru is one of the most minor and rarely seen sake from the Meimon Shukai. You can only find it in Kyoto or at Heiwado.
There was a hiyaoroshi fair at the Hanshin Department Store in Nishinomiya, and the lineup of hiyaoroshi from all over Japan was breathtaking. I think there were more than 100 different kinds of sake, mainly from Meimon Sake Kai.
I bought several bottles from among them. There were many I wanted, but my budget and quantity limited me to 3 bottles.
It doesn't say it, but I searched for it and found that it is a raw sake.
The rice is Kyo-no-kiraki and Shuku-mai. The yeast is Kyo no Hana.
Banana-like flavor. It also has a slightly ripe taste. It has sweetness, spiciness, and freshness, so you can enjoy various aspects of the sake. It has a strong nutty taste.
bouken, good evening!
It was until yesterday...
If I had known that, I would have finished it in the neighborhood without having to go through that trouble.
Good evening, Mr. Yoohee.
During the period, we had a wider selection than the department store in Umeda 😊 Some of the items may continue to be sold after the end of the period, so it might be a good idea to go there just in case you don't like it😃.
The Hanshin Department Store in Nishinomiya is a hole-in-the-wall where you can find a wide variety of sake related to the Meimon Sake Association, which you won't find at local sake shops. The store is somewhere between a department store and a supermarket, but it is not to be underestimated. I sometimes check it out in the winter when the sake is freshly pressed and in the summer when the sake is unpasteurized. Amagasaki Hanshin also has a large selection of Kaygetsu.
I heard this is the second test brew, but I wonder what the first one was? The name sounds like a Mazda convertible 🚗.
As written, it smells like bananas. Juicy sweet flavor and freshness like a fresh sake. I haven't had Koshi in a while, but it's consistently good.
The sweetness and spiciness are gentle. The aroma is also mild.... But when I drank it again, it was quite sweet.
It's a mature taste.
And when I drank it more than 3 days after opening the package, it became more sweet and sour, more juicy, and more delicious. It's a sake that undergoes a mysterious change.
The taste is also a little unique. The way the acidity comes out is unique.
At first I wrote that it had no personality, but I'm sorry.
Sweet, bitter, and spicy are all understated, and it goes down easy. It doesn't have much character or personality, but it's good to drink with a meal. There is not much freshness.
It is a little too mature for me.
I've been looking for it for about 2 years.
I've been looking for it for about two years now. It's clean, with a slight sweetness that converges with a crisp dryness. It's spicier than the seal-labeled Hiyaoroshi I drank before.
