This time it is Junmai sake from Kujira Masamune.
Visit the Okayama Prefecture Fair at Kitahama Fermentation Plant.
Thankfully, it's February and I'm extremely tired from the fever at my part-time job 😫.
It would definitely be better for my body if I went home early, but my heart wanted to be healed by Okayama sake, so I stopped by 💕.
It's times like that, isn't it?
Light yellowish hue.
Fresh banana on the top with a mild aroma of banana.
Lightly green banana aroma and smooth rice flavor flow smoothly like water from the light mouthfeel.
The alcohol content is so light that you would think it was light. (The alcohol content was 16 degrees Celsius💦.)
This lightness...
I paired this lightness with vinegared pickled mamakari, which is a typical Okayama dish.
I thought the sake might be too light, but the pickled mamakari really brings out the flavor.
I might like this kind of sake.
Masamune sake is a spit point.
More points for me personally 😆.
Nice Masamune👍
Hi Hirupeco, good evening 🌙
If you are a member of the Masamune community ❓🤣
I was surprised to hear that the king of oceanic Masamune 👑, Kujira Masamune 😳I haven't had it yet, so I'm thankful to know that it is still being made 🙏.
Good morning, Miss Peco ☀☀☀.
Thanks for your work. Okayama combination, I like it. ☺️3 The third photo, too austere 🤣.
I thought it was Kochi on my own.
Good morning, Maru-brother! Your comment solved the mystery! Maybe the reason I thought it was light in taste was because I was subconsciously comparing it to drunken whales from Kochi 🤔I heard that there used to be small whales in the Seto Inland Sea and they used to whaling 🐳.
Autumn Dyed with Niigata Sake (2)
This autumn, we are holding a campaign on our own initiative to dye ourselves in Niigata sake.
2) Fruitful Hokusho
Sake from Murakami City in Shimoetsu.
It is often seen at Yamaya with a special distributor label of Taiyozakari,
Hokusho is a junmai ginjo brewed entirely in Niigata with Niigata yeast, rice, water, and techniques, and aged at a low temperature for more than half a year.
It is served cold.
The color of the sake is a gentle yellow-green.
The top aroma is mild and smooth on the palate.
The flavor structure is similar to Tsukifumi no Ike, with a clean, refreshing sake with a blue banana aroma and moderate rice flavor. The moderate acidity is also effective and crisp.
It is a lighter ginjo-style sake than the junmai sake Tsukifumi no Ike, with a good amount of rice flavor, yet it is easy to drink and delicious. Expect it to warm up as well. ♨️🍶
Oops, neither of these are my favorite 💕.
A good start 🚩.
I'll be updating this autumn with more Niigata sake, interspersed with a little bit of another sake 😊.
Hi Hirupeko 😃.
Reading your post makes me feel the urge to get all dyed up on Niigata sake 🤗I'm also curious what you paired with the light and dry sake 😋and I'd love to go for the heated sake 🍶😚.
Hi Hirupeco!
Hi, I'm Hihirupeko-san! [I see you went to Kitahama Fermentation Plant 😁.
I had a "Hokusho" myself ✨.
I went to the store with a Yukio T-shirt and the waiter was so happy to see me with a Yukio maegake wrapped around his head 🤣.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby. In the Kansai area, we don't have many opportunities to encounter Niigata sake, so it was a good opportunity for the Niigata Sake Festival to come to Osaka😊I wanted to have salted fish with kanzuri for my entrée, but I gave up because I don't like spicy food🥵.
Good evening, Mr. Gyve. I also stopped by Kitahama Hakkesho! It was delicious and surprisingly easy to drink 😋I told the Tsururei people at the Niigata Sake no Jin about the Yukio T-shirt and they were delighted 😊.
Autumn, the season of Niigata Sake
While visiting the Niigata Sake Festival at the Kintetsu Main Store in Abeno Harukas and having a few drinks, I decided to try to immerse myself in Niigata sake this fall,
I decided to drink Niigata sake this fall. We will start with Kitahama Hakkesho, which is also rumored to be a Niigata sake brewery.
By the way, Kitahama Hakkosho is also holding a Niigata Fair.
(1) Tsuki no Fumi no Ike hiyaoroshi (hiyaoroshi from Tsuki no Fumi no Ike)
This sake is from Itoigawa in Joetsu.
It is read as "Tsukimizu-no-ike.
It is served cold.
It is a light cream-colored sake.
The top aroma is of gentle banana.
It has a smooth, refreshing taste with a hint of blue banana, caramel, and rice flavor. The final taste is dry and tight.
It is a light and dry sake, but it is delicious with a strong rice flavor 😋 I would like to heat this up!
And one more glass.
[This is the third and final round of drinks at "prking Kitahama Hakkosho".
Ayu Masamune Honjozo.
The aroma is full of ayu, and the mouthfeel is full of umami and ayu sweetness, and the taste is crisp on the tongue, followed by a clean and pleasant aftertaste.
[I was surprised to find a sake with such a name after reading other people's reviews of it on Sake-no-wa.
We left the store with some souvenirs ✨.
The fourth picture shows a restaurant near Shin-Osaka station that serves Kochi's famous "Jang-men", which I had been interested in for a long time, so I stopped by for lunch before heading to "Kitahama Hakkosho" (Kitahama Fermentation Factory) 🍜.
Jang-men" ramen noodles with egg sauce, full of leek and hormone, delicious 😋.
[The second sake at "prking Kitahama Hakkosho" (prking Kitahama Fermentation Plant).
Hokusho Junmai Ginjo Hokusho in Fruits.
The aroma is a little difficult to smell due to the wind, but it gives a cool and refreshing feeling.
I've been curious about "Hokusho" ever since I saw a review of "Hokusho Mild Nigori Hon Nama Nama Sake" by the King of Menshu about a year ago, and I finally got to drink it 😁.
It has a delicious fresh flavor typical of Niigata sake 😋.
After a dramatic increase in workload since the beginning of the current fiscal year, and after successfully completing the torrent of field work from July to the end of September, I finally had a week's refreshment break ✨.
(Although I was called in to work on a holiday in the middle of my vacation.)
I'm going to take a day trip to Osaka and Kyoto to do some drinking 😁.
I'll try to post in real time ✨
First of all, I've always wanted to visit [prking Kitahama Fermentation Station] 🚃.
I saw ma-ki-san visited the other day and they have a great selection of drunken sake 😋.
Well, let's start with the KEG bottle we were looking for!
Harada Special Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake
The aroma of rice is classic, the carbonation is so slight that you have to concentrate on the tip of your tongue to feel it, the taste is fresh and KEG-like, and the fruity sweetness on the back is refreshing and fruity, with a sweet aftertaste.
The gap between the classic aroma and the modern taste is pleasant and delicious 😋.
The store even kindly let me pour it myself from the KEG server into my own sake cup 😁.
I'm sitting on the shady terrace in the afternoon, feeling the autumn breeze while sipping my sake 🍁🍃🍶.
Hi Gyve-san. I see that you are in Osaka right now 😳I love the Kitahama Fermentation Plant 💕Maybe we can meet up since I'm going to Kyoto for a sake run?
Hi, Hirupeco!
I'm heading to Osaka station right now and taking a walk in Nakanoshima park 🚶.
I'm on my way to Kyoto now, I'm on my way to Senbon Nakatachiuri 😁.
Hi Jive, good evening.
Thank you very much for your hard work and the site🍀.
I see you went to Kitahama Fermentation 🎵.
It's a really good store ⤴️
Last time I was there, Harada was not there, so I have to visit from time to time 😊have a nice holiday~✨.
Good morning, ma-ki-san!
Sorry to make you scout for me, but [prking Kitahama Fermentation Station] was drunk 😁.
Drinking, shopping, location and drunkenness are the best ✨!
Good evening, Gyve 😃.
The Kansai sakewa connection that develops from a sakewa post to drinking together 😍Jaive-san and Hirupeko-san's hukkake is also wonderful 🥹.
Hi Jay & Nobby ☀☀☀☀!
It was an emergency offline meeting, but it turned out to be a fun time 😁.
I think I'm pretty much the same, but Hirupeko's energy really amazes me sometimes ✨.
The 8th glass at my first PARKING Kitahama Fermentation was Higashitsuru Yamadanishiki by Higashitsuru Shuzo.
So, let's have it right away.
First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong.
In the mouth, you can taste the sweetness, then the bitterness and complexity.
It goes well with meals and is delicious.
It was my first time to visit this restaurant, but the atmosphere was like a café, and it was blissful to enjoy a cup of sake while looking at the sake.
The staff was very kind and attentive, and we had a very comfortable time.
The shop also sold sake, so I bought two bottles and moved on to the next store.
Thank you very much, Mr. Gyves, for showing us this wonderful store.
The seventh sake at my first PARKING Kitahama Fermentation was Amami Junmai Ginjo by Choshu Shuzo.
Here is the sake in bottles from here on.
So, let's have it right away.
First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong.
In the mouth, you will feel sweetness, and in the second half, you will feel spiciness and bitterness in the back of the throat.
The balance is also good.
After drinking a bottle of sake for the first time today, it is of course delicious, but I felt I realized once again how fresh KEG DRAFT is.
The sixth glass of my first KEGDRAFT was Tsubozaka KEG DRAFT Sparkling13 from Tsubozaka Shuzo.
Let's start with the aroma.
First, the aroma. The aroma is not so strong.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel it is also very sweet and bitter.
It has more sweetness and bitterness than the nobility.
Overall, I felt it was a little sweet, but it is well balanced.
The second half of the aroma is also pleasant and tasty.
The fifth drink of the first KEG DRAFT was KiKEG DRAFT OTOKOYAMA GORILLA by Nagayama Honke Brewery.
This is the start of the second 4-drink comparison.
Let's start with the first one.
First, the aroma. It has a slightly refreshing aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, it has a very nice dry, chili-like texture.
I really like the feeling of the sweetness pushing in behind the dryness, and I found it to be well balanced and delicious.
