A souvenir for myself when I went to Niigata on a business trip. My fridge was jammed so I bought a 300ml bottle to take home.
It has a pineapple-like aroma, a chilli gasiness, a gorgeous sweetness and a good acidity of lactic acid. I drank it all up in no time.
This is the first time I have had Jigorin nigori, which I have longed for. The fruity aroma, sweetness, and acidity are well balanced, and the deliciousness of the rice can be felt clearly. I would like to get it just once and drink it slowly at home.
Thank you, ma-ki-san. When I went to chuin-san for the first time in a while, Mr. Kawada told me that he would open it tomorrow and now, and I was able to come and have a drink with him every day.
It has a delicious lactic acidity, with a firm sweetness and strong acidity.
While I was tasting it cold, Mr. Kawada served it lukewarm. The taste completely changed when heated. The acidity was gone and the taste of the rice became mellower, which was a new discovery for me.
Ms. Kawada of chuin told us that this sake is made by the first female Nanbu Touji. I had never heard of the Nanbu Touji before, so I learned a lot from Ms. Kawada's story.
After returning home, I learned that the Nanbu Touji is a group of toji based in Iwate Prefecture and one of the three major toji in Japan.
It is endorsed with the theme of Shiwa to the Universe (Sora), from Shiwa Town to the Universe (Sora).
The sake had an apple-like aroma and an elegant taste with a balance of beautiful sweetness and acidity.
I was looking forward to drinking the Densho-Kiku Orikarami, which I immediately popped as soon as it went on sale. Since I was allowed to drink the orange without orikagami at chuin-san, I enjoyed the red slowly at home.
As a result, I am glad I bought it. It tasted very much to my liking. ☺️
When you open the cork, you will hear a pop and smell a gorgeous aroma like pineapple.
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the chili gas, mild sweetness, gentle acidity, and bitterness. This is truly the best modern sake. This will definitely be a repeat purchase next year👍.
As I got hooked on sake this year, I really wanted to try Denshogiku after reading your review of it. I wanted to buy the red orikarami and drink it slowly at home, so I had this one.
The aroma is gorgeous, gassy and well-balanced, sweet and fruity. Looking forward to the red 😊.
Hi, Kata-san.
Denshikiku, I got some the other day too, they are delicious ⤴️
I'm so jealous that you also got the origarami ✨.
Looking forward to your review 😊.
Thank you for your comment, ma-ki-. The electric chrysanthemum is delicious! I really wanted to buy this one too, but there was no room in the fridge, so I bought only the red one.
A bottle from the nigori series that I really wanted to drink.
The gasiness was moderate. It was sweet and tasty, with just the right amount of acidity, and the finish was clean and crisp.
I would like to buy it next year.
Today, I visited Kumamoto to attend a conference. When it was time for the evening reception, after the explanation of the dishes, the organizer happily said, "We are serving local sake today.
I went to check out the local sake corner and to my surprise, there was a bottle of Sanzo sitting in the corner! I had never had it before, so I immediately had a glass.
It was great, with a pear-like aroma, a shrieking gasiness, and a refreshing sweetness😃.
Towards the end of the meeting, a very VIP actress from Kyushu also made an appearance, and we were very impressed by the wonderful hospitality of the organizers for the day.
Pineapple and apple-like aroma. Chilli gasiness. Gorgeous sweetness, rice flavor, and mellow taste. It is very tasty with a good sharpness.
Recommended by the owner of Niigata's local sake defense force where we purchased it. The rice polishing ratio and other details are not disclosed, but I was told that it is the most cost-effective sake, being a regular sake even though it is a daiginjo level polished to 45%.
The ★ (star) series, a challenging sake that accelerates the evolution of Abe Shuzo. This is a kijo-zake that uses Abe Shuzo's sake as part of the brewing water. The rich flavor and moderate acidity were exquisitely delicious. At a corner bar in Hasegawa-ya, Niigata.
Yasuda Torigoe", one of Abe Shuzo's field-specific series, a sake with well-balanced rice flavor and acidity. At a paid tasting at Niigata Nishikiya Sake Shop.
