Today is Iwagiku (nigori) and Sen(Ishikawa-mon). This is the first nigori for Kangiku. It has a different aroma from usual Kangiku. It smells like La France. When you put it in your mouth, it feels so firmer that you may think you are drinking bubbles (sorry for the confusing expression.) I have had many nigori sake, but I have never had such a feeling. I have never had such a feeling before. Of course it is delicious.

Today is purple space (sparkling) and chivalry. This is the first sparkling sake of Shiwa Shuzoten's (former Hirota Shuzoten) new brand [Shiwa Sparkling], which debuted last year. It is not so much sparkling as nigori sake. The amount of oli is so small that you might think it's not sparkling, but rather nigori. The bottle is very energetic, so be on your guard when opening. The aroma is that of rice. When you drink it, you will feel the carbonation and a hint of sweetness soaking into your body. It is better to think of it as something different from the "Purple Space" that has been available until now.

Oshima and Tanaka Rokuo today. An unknown combination of Okura x Yamahai x Aizan x Association No. 8. When I found it, I read the label for a while. Today we had Mikotsuru (dry) and Takarazumi (very dry). When I was looking for a partner for the super-harsh one, it was in stock at the right time, so I bought it immediately. Although it is called "dry", it is still Gokotsuru. Compared with Hozurugi, it has a slightly fruity and sweet aroma. It has a sweet aroma with a hint of fruitiness compared to Hohzurugi. Taste local once in a while. So today, Yaezakura(eight) and Hamamusume. They are limited brands for the sake shop's hanpukai (distribution). I guess there are many people who don't know about it. It is another brand of Yaezakura sake from Iwaizumi Town, which is famous for Ryusendo Cave. It was well received at the hanpukai, so it may or may not go on sale to the general public in the near future. The aroma is along the lines of Imi and Tagaji. Compared to Hamamusume, it has a thicker sweetness and aftertaste. A rare type of sake in Iwate Prefecture.

Let's taste our hometown once in a while. So today is Yaezakura(eight) with Hamamusume. This is an Iwate-only brand of Akabu. When I opened the bottle, I was so surprised by the sound that I thought it might be an explosion. It has a fresh and fruity aroma and taste. The carbonation resets your taste buds and makes you want another glass right away.
