I opened and drank two bottles of Mizuo and Kitamitsu Masamune, which are brewed close to each other. This one is Mizuo's Special Junmai Awakaze, 100% Kinmon Nishiki. As indicated on the label, it is light and refreshing. It has a slight acidity afterwards and is similar to the Honkin. Just right for the hot weather we are having right now.

Now it's past 8pm and before we split up, my friend invited me to have a drink in Tokyo Station. I noticed it was easy to drink and took a picture of it, but it was almost empty😅. The taste is still the same... 🥲. I bought 2 bottles of sake at this liquor store on the way home 😁. Memorandum

On Sunday, our mountain plan was postponed due to rain, so we gathered at Ueno around 3:30 p.m. and started drinking. We finally went to the third restaurant where we could drink sake at around 18:00. But before that, we drank a lot of beer, sours and highballs, so I don't remember the taste of sake at all 😅 I think it's easy to drink and mild because it's raw, but I lost the rest 🤫. I'd like to taste it next time 😙🍶´-

I stayed at Togari Onsen in GW and compared Hokkou Masamune and Mizuo and found that Mizuo was better, but I bought two bottles of Hokkou Masamune at Kakuguchi Sake Brewery in my neighborhood, which is only a few minutes drive away 😁. When I checked out, I asked the owner about the sake and he told me that Mizuo's brewery was flooded by the previous heavy rains and that they took the opportunity to make some modifications to improve the taste and that it is now more popular than Hokko's 🤔. By the way, what kind of sake (Junmai, Honjyo, etc.) do both of them serve? I asked. The owner said it was probably 2nd class sake 🤔... (I don't know if that's true now 😅) I opened the bottle and the aroma was refreshing. It's not nigori-ish, but rather crisp and slightly spicy. There is no sweetness. It is delicious cooled down in this hot season. I would like to have some tadacha beans as a snack 😁.

Drink comparison before emptying the main gold 😋. I found the owner's comment when I stopped by a store called Takitani Honten in the Nakamise area of Zenkoji Temple. I was so grateful for the recommendation 😆 as I still don't know what it tastes like and what's good for me. The owner also approached me as I was looking at the various comments and told me that he wrote all the comments on the ones he drank himself! I asked him if he had any recommendations for me since I just started drinking Sake again. He recommended this one 😆. Now let's see if I can taste the same flavor as the owner's comment 🤭. The aroma after opening the bottle is not too strong, not too fruity and normal 😐. Now rinse it in your mouth and gulp it down! Not too spicy, a little sweet, mellow and a little sour. It is not so bright, but it has a nice refreshing feeling. Compared to the Honkin that I was drinking now, Honkin had a slightly sour taste that lingered in my mouth. I prefer Yonekawa if I don't have anything to snack on, but if I want something with a strong flavor, Honkin is available 🤤🤤. I'm a bit of a know-it-all, but I enjoy drinking at least one glass of sake at home almost every day 🍶😁.

During my GW trip, I stopped by Sakurai Shoten (394-4 Inazato-cho) near Nagano interchange to buy some Mizuo, and I bought some HONKIN after reading the owner's comments 😆. It has a sour and acidic (citrusy?) taste. I could feel the mildness of Suwa rice from the fruity taste of Suwa rice 🤤. It is easy to drink cold 😁.

On the way back from the Daibosatsu Ridge the other day, I drove down the national highway and found the Sasaichi Sake Brewery 😁. I had narrowed down my choices, but I wanted to try a draft sake, so I bought one to try. (I'll let you know what I think of the others later.) It was supposed to be cold sake, but I opened it and took a sip. It has a fruity taste, then a sharp spiciness and a slight bitterness at the end. It's not that sweet, so I served it with some strong flavored chicken wings as a snack 🤤.

The other day I took a day off from work to visit a roadside station in Tsuru on my way back from climbing the Daibosatsu-zan Mountain in Yamanashi with a friend on a weekday. We immediately went to the sake place and found a sparkling wine that looked easy to drink 😆. I immediately opened it and drank it 🍶´-. It was a bit drier and more refreshing than the sparkling Hakkaisan I had the other day. It's not sweet, but it has a fruity taste and tastes like rice, so it's good for when you want a refreshing drink. It was a bit spicy, so it was great with sweet Japanese sweets after dinner 😋.

I drank Sawanoi, which was given to me by a friend, cold and on the rocks. The cold version was dry with a unique aroma and a slightly lingering taste. I wanted to drink it cold for the second sip, so I drank it on the rocks to make it easier to drink and served it with pickled cucumber lemons 😋. If you want something a little spicy, you might want to try it on the rocks to make it easier to drink cold 😆. I guess it's an evil way to go if you like it 😅.

I saw this one at a roadside station in Kusatsu on the way back from a GW trip to Nagano 😄. The glass is beautiful, so I bought this one as a story, but the moment I opened it, it had a nice fruity-sweet aroma. (I'm not sure if it's a woman planning to buy one of these as a souvenir or a woman planning to buy one as a gift. (I wonder if women plan such souvenirs.) I immediately tried it and found it to be very easy to drink. It was easy to drink. I also gave it to my wife and she said it was delicious and easy to drink 😁. I'm wondering if it's the same as the Chikuma-nishiki Junmai Daiginjo 😙. I'm not sure if it's the bottle price or the quantity, but I'd like to try some more Chikuma Nishiki next time 🤤.

I bought this one at the Zenkoji Naka store after seeing the nigori sake bottle, but when I drank it, I found it to be a bit strong and spicy despite being nigori sake. It seems that Hitogochochi rice is used for the sake rice, but I could not taste the rice flavor at all. It was a nigori sake with a moderate sweetness and mildness. The color of the bottle should have been changed from pink to light blue so the image would have been different 🤔.

I bought this one at the Nakasho store in Zenkoji, Nagano. It looks easy to drink from the introductory comments and the label, so I got a small bottle 😁. The aroma is refreshing, not too harsh or spicy, and the best thing about it is that it is light 🤔. I served it cold and it went well with my dinner of nozawana and pork marinated in miso 😋.

I forgot I had bought it when I traveled to Niigata last year😅. It's not too sweet, it feels light and refreshing. It is a Japanese version of Champagne with a low acidity. Delicious chilled 😋. Nagano souvenirs of sansho seeds as snacks 😁.

I got carried away on my GW trip and bought about 10 bottles... 🤣 My companion from tonight is this sake that was sold at a roadside station in Kusatsu on the way home. The lid is Funatotaki lol. Is it a different label version of the same kind? 😅 It's refreshing, light and slightly sweet. It has little bitterness and a little sourness. It's light so it's perfect for any occasion 👌 The label on the back of the bottle says it is a good match for any occasion.

On a trip to Nagano, we stopped at Togakushi Shrine and Zenkoji Temple, stayed overnight at a hotel in Shiga Kogen, and had a cup of sake served cold. The sake was sweeter than expected and easy to drink. The spiciness and richness were moderate.

Finally, one of the last ones is free. I guess I'm at the pace of one bottle a week 🤔. I went to Mt. Akagi last week, so I bought a local sake with that name that even my wife could drink easily. It is slightly sweet and light. It's a little sour at the end. It has a slight aftertaste, but I think I could drink it.

Amakutakakaakaatenshita! This is what I found while looking for local sake in Maebashi on the way back from climbing Mt. It's sweet and easy to drink at first, but after that it's just as you'd expect from Kakaatenshita! It is sweet and easy to drink at the beginning, but after that, it finishes with a nice finish (a little spicy, perhaps?). Ason debakainna konoyaro (...д・・)・・・・asen I would like to buy another one when I visit the mountains around here again 😊. PS The owner has put Kakaa-sama in the box and is well respected 🙏.

The last in the Morotsuyoshi series is Isshaku-Suisei Misato Nishiki. I thought I was told by a friend that it was easy to drink and fruity, so I tried it... But...? This is another time when I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I was wondering what to drink when I was told by a neighbor that Kubota's dry sake was not so bad! I guess you could call it refreshing and moderately spicy! We had ordered oden and yakitori (grilled chicken), so we had those as snacks 😋. This was alright 😄
