At the end of August, when typhoons were paralyzing transportation across the board, I went to Kagawa Prefecture in Shikoku! We climbed Kompira-san😊.
I went to a local izakaya to drink Kinryo sake at the foot of Kompira-san 😊.
For the record.
I wanted to try Loman!
I decided on 🥰 Hanami Loman because the label was cute. The spoils of my Fukushima trip 🚗³₃
Now, how does it taste? It tastes good. Nice aroma.
It's refreshing, but it's sweet because of the aroma. The bitter aftertaste seems to go well with spring vegetables, but the season is already summer 🌸🌻🍂❄.
I'd like to try it in that season next time 😅.
First time, Kangiku!
And my favorite Sake Mirai: ♥️
The aroma is sweet, but the slight bitterness in the aftertaste makes it easy to drink.
But maybe my expectation was too high, it's not enough when I drink it with a meal.
So I'll leave it for about 2 weeks.
For the record
At a tavern in Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture
One of the sake tasting set
Surprisingly refreshing, with a slightly bitter aftertaste?
Fukushima Souvenir, Vol. 0 (I forgot)!
It is Hiroki Sake Brewery. Hiroki aims to make the ultimate food sake that goes well with food.
It has no quirks and seems to go well with food, but sorry 🙏 for me, drinkability + bitterness = bitterness and I'm a bit uncomfortable with it.
I'll put it down and hope the flavor settles down ✨.
For the record. I told my first liquor store that I like hiyaoroshi, and they recommended this 2 degree summer oversummer.
It was a little yellowish sake, but not to the level of kijoshu, and I felt a little whiskey-like aji 🥃.
I received this from a senior colleague of mine. This is my first time drinking it at home. The first attack is the aroma 🍇. It has a strong acidity and a grape-like aroma, just like a summer sake. My partner seems to like it very much😍.
I'll buy some myself next summer 🥰.
It arrived today! A lottery sale winner.
I'm sure I would have won if I had applied for it though.
Combined with the shipping costs, this sake is high-class😅.
I'll write my impression after I drink it ⸜(* ॑기ˆ* )⋆*☆☆.
Sunday, 7/14, took 15 minutes to open the bottle. Yup, it took 15 minutes to open. Tasty. But if you've had rice and agave before, you might expect it. But wait a minute. This aroma, thirst, and fragrance at a rice polishing ratio of 90. It's not good.
It is not sake. It is a liqueur.
It is a trophy of our trip to Fukushima.
I thought it might restore my partner's good mood, who was not very happy about the large amount of sake we bought on our trip. I had a ulterior motive, but it was the right decision.
It is a drinkable yogurt for adults.
You can enjoy it as if it were an after-dinner dessert 🥰.
My partner also said, "This is delicious. Maybe it would be good with soda. 💕︎".
I'll try it with soda tomorrow✋.
It was a successful strategy.
Long time no post. I've been drinking, but I've been drinking less and I can't seem to empty the bottle 😭
And, in the recent boom of my doburoku, here is this doburoku. This is my first time.
It's my first time. The top clear liquid is delicious. It has a green apple-like aroma💜 and the cloudy part is more drinkable and has a stronger sake flavor, making it a great sake.
Gone in 2 days.
Travel souvenir #2. Sasasamune.
I went all the way to Fukushima Prefecture to buy this sake!
And I wanted to buy Junmai sake, but unfortunately it was sold out, so here is Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo. Yes, no doubt about it. It has a slightly sweet aroma from start to finish, and goes well with food as it is 😋.
But if I wanted, I felt it could have a little more character.
I made roast beef with Shin Shin Shin of Fukaya beef from Fukaya City, which is getting a lot of attention for Eiichi Shibusawa, and for the sauce, I sliced raw garlic and used oil to make it crispy only around the slices, then heated the remaining oil in the pan with a little dashi soy sauce and served it with the entree!
For a change of flavor, I also served it with my favorite wasabi (๑♡♡๑♡♡).
The back is a piece of bonito that I bought and lightly grilled around the edges to make it look like tataki, and a store-bought egg and tofu with edamame (soybeans).
This is the first bottle of sake I purchased on my trip to Fukushima.
I was actually going to go with a different one, but couldn't make it to this one, which is low-polished and has oji in it (lol).
Sour? No, refreshing! Low-polished rice has a hint of rice bran in it, which makes it relatively sour, but this one is not.
Amazing quality! It's so refreshing, yet I can feel the sweetness of the rice. Even sweeter when you add the oli 😊✨.
Delicious ♥️This is my favorite taste ♥️I hope everyone will try it 🥰!
I am here in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture.
Before that, I went to a liquor store in Kitakata city ✨.
I was so excited! I can't believe how much they have here 😆😆😆😆.
I bought 11 bottles of sake, big and small, over 20,000 yen 💦.
So, we went to a butcher shop in Aizuwakamatsu where we had reservations to buy assorted horse sashimi, and then moved on to the onsen inn.
I ate the assorted horse sashimi with miso garlic sauce dipped in soy sauce. No doubt about it!
And the sake tasted freshly opened, tangy, and refreshing. I almost finished the bottle with only a little left of the four-pack ✋.
Good morning, Mr. Manachy. That's right. It's Gonoi-san's original, isn't it? I should have bought more if this is the case. I bought a few bottles of Tenmei from the same Akebono brewery, and some Izumikawa from Hiroki Shuzo.
Izumibashi after a long time. I was recommended this sake by a junior colleague of mine who can be called my sake master when I was just starting to learn about sake (about 10 years ago?). I was recommended this sake by a junior colleague of mine who I can call my sake master.
At that time, it was an autumn dragonfly, but this time it's a cherry blossom dragonfly🌸.
I'm not sure if it's a cherry blossom dragonfly or not. It's not raw, so it's easy to drink. (Holy crap, it's good!
This summer, I might buy some summer yago for the first time in a while 🤔.
Tohoku Izumi, the rice is Sake Mirai, this is my first time to buy it!
It tasted more like bitterness when I opened it than I had imagined. Now it's sleeping in the fridge, aiming to change the taste. ♥️
I'll drink it this weekend.
