New Year's Eve sake is our family staple, Isojiman.
It was available in limited quantities at Kagataya. It is delicious even when heated. In fact, I think the aroma was stronger when heated.

This is also made with Princess Michiko, which I bought at Tokyo University of Agriculture. I remember thinking that Ichinokura, which is not Princess Michiko, might taste better.
I think I bought this at Kagataya Sake Shop in Nishikoyama. The front label has the details of the sake and the toji's name written in large letters, which I like because it looks cool.
This sake is made from Kame-no-o, the model for "Natsuko's Sake," the sake that got me hooked on sake, by the Kusumi Shuzo brewery. I've always wanted to try it. I want to try Kame-no-o next.
