It was probably the best tasting microbubbly I've had. It had an excellent balance and a melon-like aroma and taste. It made the Sekogani crab and unko ponzu very tasty.
Limited edition sake from Matsui Shuzo, a famous sake brewery in Kyoto. It has an elegant, grape-like flavor that is hard to believe it is sake. The sake is served with a variety of sashimi.
It is a famous sake from Kanto and rarely seen in Kyoto. And since it is a summer sake, I chose it without hesitation. It went very well with the exquisite sashimi!
