I had friends over for hot pot today and drank this Hakkaisan. A blend of Hyogo Prefecture Yamada Nishiki and Nagano Prefecture Miyama Nishiki. The aroma is light, with hints of honeydew melon, apple, and a sense of snow country. Smooth body, cotton and light in the mouth, slightly light bodied, low alcohol. Very drinkable. Score: 93/100

I brought Otter Sacrifice Mill to a party today. The aroma is fresh. There are hints of white grapes, honeydew melon, and apples interspersed with small white floral flavors. Lingering and round in the mouth, well concentrated, medium structure, not very complex. Long finish. Pairs well with a variety of roasted birds. Score: 93/100

Izakaya Soba in front of Nagano Station. I chose this one out of the four types of Jizake. It was full-bodied, with distinct banana and cucumber aromas. The mouthfeel was smooth with a hint of spice. Nice to enjoy with tempura and soba noodles. To Lord Takeda Shingen and Lord Uesugi Kenshin. Rating: 90/100

Went to the Black Dragon Brewery and bought it back. Gingko. A very obvious smoky wine, clean, lingering and lightly floral and fruity. Elegant and pure aroma. Medium body, medium finish. Paired with Bluefin Tuna Big Belly, Mid Belly, and Beef Tongue. Rating: 90/100

The aroma is gorgeous, the purpose is medium, has a pronounced acidity, and the finish is short. It is an easy wine to pair with fresh fish dishes, and I paired it with freshly caught ground 🈚 from Tsuruga port, which was very tasty. Rating: 89/100
