It has been a long time since the last Yamahai. The taste of rice, including the miscellaneous flavors, is very strong. I think this is the first time I have had sake from Saga. It was delicious!
Here is another memorandum. The owner is very particular about his sake, and the marriage between the sake and the meal is excellent. We enjoyed this one very much too!
I received this sake yesterday when I visited a friend in Matsumoto. It was a wonderful sake, smooth and silky to drink, with a fruity sweet aftertaste. ☺️
Here is another memorandum
A bottle that needs no explanation. I haven't had it for a long time, but the dry and sharp aftertaste is irresistible. I had a chance to drink it often when I was young, but at that time, I didn't know how good Kuroryu (or sake) was, and I missed drinking it so much because it was so easy to drink that I got drunk!
Here is another memorandum (I have been slacking lately)
I got this one when I visited Gifu in summer. The alcohol content is high, but it has a clean aftertaste and the sweetness of the rice spreads in the mouth 👌
Remarks. A refreshing taste of rice, very much to my liking. I can't stop drinking it and end up drinking too much. It seems to go well with all kinds of Japanese food. This is my favorite type of sake among the ones I have had recently.
To go with hand-rolled sushi. This is the first time I have had this wine, and I really like the taste! The balance between the refreshing sensation in the mouth, the umami of the rice, and the alcohol is exquisite. My wife (whose range of favorite sake tastes is extremely narrow) is also pleased with it after a long time.
We enjoyed it here at our house while watching the fireworks and grabbing some yakiniku. I got the impression that the Junmai Ginjo was more melon-like, but it was very tasty and to my liking 🤙.
As a reminder of the sake I received the other day. This sake is quite dry and light. It is not fruity or has a strong rice flavor, so it is not sharp in a good way. Very good as a food sake👍
I got it at my parents' house, but apparently it is limited to Matsumoto Castle? It seems to be limited to Matsumoto Castle. The sake has a robust flavor and is very drinkable. Delicious!
