Here is my last review of 2024.
I had completely given up on being able to buy it and then I came across it. I opened the bottle after waiting until the end of the year.
It is different from the Oragami, sweet and juicy in the middle! It is still delicious! I will be able to start the New Year with no regrets.
Thank you very much, everyone. We look forward to serving you again next year 🙇.
Hello Ikka Iasumi😃Happy New Year 🌅.
It was nice to meet you 🤗Good to see you in the New Year with delicious food‼️
Best wishes for the new year too🙇🏻🙇🏻♀️
Happy New Year, Jay & Nobby 🌅It was a good end of the year for me, as I was able to enjoy some of my favorite drinks.
I hope we can continue to find great sake in 2025! Best regards to you too 🙇.
I drink the rest of the sparkling wine left over from Christmas. The entrée was a frozen genovese with a slightly fancy-looking half-boiled egg smothered in a special mayonnaise sauce bought at 7-Eleven. Thank you for a world where we can enjoy delicious food easily.
Next, I poured this into a flute glass. I wished I had chosen something a little drier to match the sparkling wine, but the sweet and tasty flavor soothed my tiredness from the year. It's a wonderful world that we can buy such wonderful sake at 7-Eleven!
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
Convenience store snacks are really great! They make drinking by yourself more colorful.
Tsudanuma Seven, you've got the answer. I couldn't help but smile when I saw the rice and agave.
Sake is not a genre in the all-you-can-drink menu for those of us who live on salary. What we have is something that is neither from the sea nor from the mountains under the mask of "sake. There are only two choices: hot or cold. A hair dryer? No, even a hair dryer has a few more options. And if you try to use it by mistake, you are sure to have a hangover the next day.
I have learned about society through such painful experiences, but when I come across a sake that has a proper name, I am filled with joy and want to pay my respects.
The combo with the bonito tataki was a solid KO.
Eel and Sake
Reward yourself for a year of hard work
I had many kinds of sake, but this one was my favorite! Fruity, but it washed out the fat well.
By the way, it was probably Yamadanishiki, although it was not specified on the menu.
Thank you Jay & Nobby for everything you do...eel and sake, a blissful combination as we reflect on the year. I may be looking forward to this and working hard 🍶.
Daimine-san, it's delicious! No wonder it's so popular.
Back on November 9, I went to a liquor store to buy a bottle of Denshogiku that I had missed out on.
I went to a liquor store to buy a bottle of Denshogiku that I had missed, but I could not find it. However, I was looking at the sake shop the day before and noticed a sake that I was very interested in!
I had always been curious about it because it was always at the top of the "recommended for you" list, but I often reached for Kangiku Meikozo because it was also in Chiba (which is a terrible thing to say in the first place). But I finally decided to bring it home.
The very nice claim of "bottled and shipped within 24 hours after the first pressing" made me dance my heart out, and I immediately opened the bottle of this genuine nouveau!
I was excited to see the label on the back of the bottle, printed directly on the transparent bottle. Spend time with your loved ones with a luxurious bottle just for the day.
Yes, that's right. Wait until the special day. I didn't expect to drink the nouveau in its nouveau state, but instead chose to rush myself. He is a dominatrix.
Finally, I opened the bottle. I have a stupid tongue that can't really tell the difference in taste, but it was undeniably beautiful. I don't have the vocabulary to describe it, but it tastes refined and elegant without any cloying taste. And yet the juiciness spread elegantly.
Yum!
I enjoyed a luxurious moment.
Good morning, Ikka Iyasumi 😃!
Congratulations on your first Koshi at ㊗️ 🎉We are more Koshi people than Kangiku people 😅I haven't had Koshi yet 🥲I'd love to spend a luxurious moment 😌.
Hello! And thank you.
I've seen Kouko sold in supermarkets (as you can see, we don't have this brand here), so I'm always put off by it. But it is still delicious ❦.
A whale in a lake?
I was attracted by such a pop, mysterious and beautiful jacket and bought it. Unintentionally and coincidentally, a drink from Fukushima followed. My memory is as good as a chicken, not realizing that fact until I got home.
The jacket depicts a gentle and serene landscape, but it has a piquancy that I had not imagined. It has a fruity and light sweetness like apples, yet the umami of the rice is firm, and the slight bitterness that lingers afterwards is sharp and clean. Right in the middle of my favorite.
The best part is that it is priced at 1,452 yen, which is too good for the cost!
Good evening, Jay & Nobby! And sorry for the late reply! I've been so busy that I put off even checking 😱 Does it improve your memory? I'll have to drink that! I'm sorry I've been so busy that I didn't even check back.
Sweetness and good acidity. Yes, it's delicious! By the way, based on other reviews, it is a "grefleur". It was indeed tasty with sourness and bitterness, but I couldn't associate it with grefleur. Yes, I have a stupid tongue!
By the way, what my stupid tongue detected was a nostalgic sweetness......okoge? I couldn't find any other review like that. I couldn't find any other reviews like that, but I enjoyed it, so that's good.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌌Thank you again. If you get a chance, please do! I'll accept your complaints of not at all or a stupid tongue certification 🫡.
An addition to my own review. Thinking back, I don't get the impression that it was "okoge" by any stretch of the imagination, and probably meant to say "thunder koshi"...
Not only do I have a stupid tongue, but I seem to be tripping into a different world now...
I often thought about buying it at the liquor store, and although I was curious about it, I ended up eyeing it up and saying "maybe another time" before parting with it.
Finally, I am going to take it home handsome.
I am a sucker for the word "limited edition.
The mild bitterness and astringency that spreads slowly over the mild sweetness. But it is not unpleasant. It has a nice sourness to it.
The flavor is more gorgeous than the first day, with more sweetness and acidity. The taste is more to my liking.
By the way, the rice polishing ratio is 50%.
It is very reasonable for that.
Is it branding that it does not claim to be junmai daiginjo? I did a little research and couldn't figure it out.
Pudding in the fridge.
Looking forward to eating it and going about my day.
I was such a child.
Even though I am getting older, what I do is the same. I worked hard for a week to be able to open this!
This time I wanted to get two bottles to compare, but I could only find red. But I am thankful that I was able to get just the red one.
The moment I put it in my mouth, it was so fresh and crisp, with a gorgeous sweetness and acidity that spread quickly.
I was surprised to find that it was a pear.
And then there is the lingering bitterness.
It's really delicious...
Hi Ikka Iyasumi 😃.
It depends on who you are, but it's better to have something to look forward to 🤗It's great to make the weekend even happier when you're already looking forward to it👍.
We haven't tried Denshikiku yet, so we would like to give it a try 😋.
A very viscous sake. The viscosity is the best I've ever had. It is thicker than drinking yogurt. The taste is classified as sweet, and the mashiness of the sake reminds me of amazake, so I imagined it would be sweet like amazake. However, it was clearly different from amazake with its strong rice flavor and firm acidity. It was a proper sake. I enjoyed it with some nukazuke (pickles).
The website of the brewery says "Sake may be muddy, but our thoughts are not muddy at all".
I failed to upload it properly on Halloween and here we are now.
I was tired and wanted something extra sweet, so I chose this one, which is full of adult sweets! I chose this adult sweet.
The taste was mild. It was delicious with a beautiful flavor. It was too refreshing to be a pumpkin sweet, though. It was not too sweet.
And maybe it was because it was so easy to drink that I went overboard with it, but afterwards it hit me hard. The Jack-o'-Lantern's smile was about 30% more fearless.
The jacket exudes sophistication. I can't deny that I was completely taken in by the atmosphere before drinking it due to the weakness of the horizontal lettering, but the aroma, which reminded me of sweetness, acidity, and fresh fruit, was gorgeous and elegant.
The sweetness, acidity, and fresh fruit aroma were gorgeous and elegant. It made me want to drink it in a flute glass with a bit of pretension.
It is difficult to describe the spiciness or sweetness of sake. I am reminded of this every time I drink sake.
But I can say this much.
It was delicious!
What attracted me was this indescribable expression!
What a compassionate... bodhisattva!
The important thing about the taste is that it has completely flown beyond my memory. I enjoyed it with something like tempura.
Good evening, Mr. Shirotama.
There is no doubt about it!
He took care of all the tough customer requests and business that wasn't going as smoothly as I would have liked, and then he smiled kindly at me. This probably saved me at least three nights.
Good evening, Pon.
If you add such memories to the mix, it looks like you'll be having your evening drinks with tears streaming down your cheeks. But I hear there is such a thing as "tearful activity," so it might be a good idea.
I was curious about Kaze no Mori.
This is the one I had this time.
It has a very refreshing sweetness, a good acidity, and a clean, clear taste. The slight bitterness of citrus lingered in the aftertaste, and I couldn't help but be enchanted as I sipped it again.
I would like to try the dry version next time.
Refreshingly fruity, gently sweet, moderately acidic, with a hint of schwarziness. It is delicious.
It is said to have won the gold medal in the "2024 Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass Award", but I didn't know that and drank it with my usual sake cup. Next time, I will definitely try it in a wine glass.
I bought it because I was attracted by the cat, and by chance, Matsuyama Mitsui followed suit.
It is moderately spicy and fruity like a pear.
It was a bit spicy in the mouth, but never too heavy, with a gentle sweetness and sharpness that made it delicious with tempura.
While I was looking for what to buy, I was intrigued by the label "Sake Competition 2024 GOLD Awarded Sake" and decided to buy it.
It came in an impressive 6th place out of 261 entries in the category ✨.
I was excited to see how it would taste....
By the way, I am not a fan of medals.
What kind of "light" but "full-bodied" type is on the label? I thought it had just the right amount of sourness, sweetness, and umami, but then I realized that it was indeed a refreshingly crisp beer.
It seems to go well with pretty much anything as a food sake, but personally, it was a perfect match for the strong acidity of mozuku seaweed and vinegared cucumber.
I think it's the best sake in Japan (or the world, for that matter?). It is a happy world to be able to enjoy the 6th best sake at a reasonable price.
It is still hot even though it is September.
It is still summer in Japan, but sake has entered the autumn season ahead of the rest of the world.
It is very exciting to see the autumn sake on the sales floor. I chose (probably) my first YOKOYAMA.
It has a fresh sweetness and acidity that makes it easy to enjoy. But rather than being light, the bitterness that comes afterward is addictive. It is a dangerous one that makes you take sip after sip after sip.
Hi Ikka Iyasumi 🐦.
Nice label✨I would definitely buy this label in Yokoyama 😆 Autumn sake still looks delicious ❣️
I'm so excited about the Autumn Sake corner! I wanted to buy some when I saw it 🤣.
Good evening!
Yes, it was the label that made me want to buy it. Liquor stores are fun just to look around 😆 "There's this kind of sake!" or "I'm curious about this label".
Of course, it's not just about looking, lol.
