A very viscous sake. The viscosity is the best I've ever had. It is thicker than drinking yogurt. The taste is classified as sweet, and the mashiness of the sake reminds me of amazake, so I imagined it would be sweet like amazake. However, it was clearly different from amazake with its strong rice flavor and firm acidity. It was a proper sake. I enjoyed it with some nukazuke (pickles). The website of the brewery says "Sake may be muddy, but our thoughts are not muddy at all".

I failed to upload it properly on Halloween and here we are now. I was tired and wanted something extra sweet, so I chose this one, which is full of adult sweets! I chose this adult sweet. The taste was mild. It was delicious with a beautiful flavor. It was too refreshing to be a pumpkin sweet, though. It was not too sweet. And maybe it was because it was so easy to drink that I went overboard with it, but afterwards it hit me hard. The Jack-o'-Lantern's smile was about 30% more fearless.

The jacket exudes sophistication. I can't deny that I was completely taken in by the atmosphere before drinking it due to the weakness of the horizontal lettering, but the aroma, which reminded me of sweetness, acidity, and fresh fruit, was gorgeous and elegant. The sweetness, acidity, and fresh fruit aroma were gorgeous and elegant. It made me want to drink it in a flute glass with a bit of pretension.

What attracted me was this indescribable expression! What a compassionate... bodhisattva! The important thing about the taste is that it has completely flown beyond my memory. I enjoyed it with something like tempura.

Good evening, Mr. Shirotama. There is no doubt about it! He took care of all the tough customer requests and business that wasn't going as smoothly as I would have liked, and then he smiled kindly at me. This probably saved me at least three nights.

Good evening, Pon. If you add such memories to the mix, it looks like you'll be having your evening drinks with tears streaming down your cheeks. But I hear there is such a thing as "tearful activity," so it might be a good idea.

I was curious about Kaze no Mori. This is the one I had this time. It has a very refreshing sweetness, a good acidity, and a clean, clear taste. The slight bitterness of citrus lingered in the aftertaste, and I couldn't help but be enchanted as I sipped it again. I would like to try the dry version next time.

Refreshingly fruity, gently sweet, moderately acidic, with a hint of schwarziness. It is delicious. It is said to have won the gold medal in the "2024 Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass Award", but I didn't know that and drank it with my usual sake cup. Next time, I will definitely try it in a wine glass.

I bought it because I was attracted by the cat, and by chance, Matsuyama Mitsui followed suit. It is moderately spicy and fruity like a pear. It was a bit spicy in the mouth, but never too heavy, with a gentle sweetness and sharpness that made it delicious with tempura.

While I was looking for what to buy, I was intrigued by the label "Sake Competition 2024 GOLD Awarded Sake" and decided to buy it. It came in an impressive 6th place out of 261 entries in the category ✨. I was excited to see how it would taste.... By the way, I am not a fan of medals. What kind of "light" but "full-bodied" type is on the label? I thought it had just the right amount of sourness, sweetness, and umami, but then I realized that it was indeed a refreshingly crisp beer. It seems to go well with pretty much anything as a food sake, but personally, it was a perfect match for the strong acidity of mozuku seaweed and vinegared cucumber. I think it's the best sake in Japan (or the world, for that matter?). It is a happy world to be able to enjoy the 6th best sake at a reasonable price.

It is still hot even though it is September. It is still summer in Japan, but sake has entered the autumn season ahead of the rest of the world. It is very exciting to see the autumn sake on the sales floor. I chose (probably) my first YOKOYAMA. It has a fresh sweetness and acidity that makes it easy to enjoy. But rather than being light, the bitterness that comes afterward is addictive. It is a dangerous one that makes you take sip after sip after sip.

Here is the first bottle of the second year of Sake-no-wa. In the first year, I tried to enjoy a variety of brands and never drank exactly the same brand. I think I have a vague idea of what suits me and what doesn't (I'm not so sure???). Based on this self-evaluation, the theme for the second year was "find your favorite bottle. I am sure that next year I will be able to say, "Wow, you like sake. Do you have a favorite brand? I am sure that next year I will be able to proudly answer the question, "I see you like Japanese sake. I am sure you will be able to proudly answer the question, "Yes, I do! So I picked up this one, a summer sake that gave me great memories in the spring. I was very impressed with how delicious it was with sashimi. It seems to be "the less famous one" in Japan, so I was excited when I was able to reopen the bottle. With high expectations, I will have it! Hmm? It's a little different from what I expected. It's kind of spicy. Of course it tastes good, but it doesn't have the freshness that was so impressive. It was made this year, but the sake stored in a liquor store gives a fresher impression... Sake is difficult to make!

The aroma is almost melon-like. It has a mild and mellow sweetness, although the sake level is ±0. It has a sweet sake-like flavor, but it does not get in the way with food. The fact that it is a bit pricey for everyday consumption allowed us to indulge in a bit of luxury. I realized that it has been exactly one year since I started eating saké no wa. I used to like sake, but I used to hold back because I was worried about my blood sugar level. It has been a year since I lifted my ban on sake, saying, "Enough is enough. I have been drinking sake in small quantities, but the days when I don't drink are few and far between. When I tested the effects of sake on my health with my own body, the results of my medical checkup were rather good. My blood sugar level was rather lowered. Check-in 61 is not much compared to the people who use this place, but the style of drinking a four-pack of sake at home seems to suit me. I can't deny that I have a spoiled tongue and my consumption has slowed down recently due to the summer heat and the feeling of oma again, but I would like to continue to enjoy it patiently ☺.

You can feel the sweetness of the rice with moderate weight. Above all, the reasonable price, which can be changed for Shibasaburo Kitasato, makes it a pleasant evening staple. Such a daily routine seems very precious. Is this a surviving product, as the production date is August of this year? How did it reach me... I was grateful to have it, imagining how it came to be in my possession.

This is probably my favorite bottle design since I started Sake-no-wa. The website says, "The finished bottle can be used as a jug for soothing water"...that might be a good idea. Now, let's take a look at the flavor. It has a refreshingly spicy, moderately sour and bitter taste. And the crisp aftertaste is good for this season. On the third day after opening the bottle, the acidity and bitterness became more pronounced. We enjoyed it with fried corn with aroma, feeling summer on a hot night with the air conditioner turned off.

It has a very fruity taste with a hint of melon and banana. Not only is it sweet, but it also has a delicious flavor and a good amount of bitterness that lingers afterwards! This is delicious... The Noto Toji is one of the four great toji (master brewers) of Japan. I had the impression that Noto sake has a rich and robust flavor and should be served with fresh seafood, but I was happy with just the sake. As a sake lover, I was concerned about what would happen to Noto's sake breweries after the earthquake. One of the breweries, Kazuma Shuzo, is a sake brewery that I have visited at their directly managed store. The harsh reality of not being able to brew the planned amount of sake due to the disaster prompted Akatake Brewery, a sake brewery that had suffered from the disaster, to seek out ways to help. We were also surprised to learn that one of the former brewers of Akabu Shuzo has married in Noto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, and is now working at Kazuma Brewery. The situation continues to be difficult, with the population outflow accelerating in depopulated areas and the lack of progress in dismantling public funds. I decided to continue to actively pick up sake in the future in the hope that one of Noto's wonderful cultures will continue for a long time.

The hot days continue. Consumption of beer and highballs has recently been on the rise in place of sake. Both body and mind are craving for a refreshing drink. So I decided to try a different way to enjoy sake! Please enjoy it with soda. The brewer of this sake, Tama Sakura Shuzo, has a very high Sake meter of +10.0 and an acidity of 3.5, and I remember that the mellow nigori sake with a Sake meter of -30 that I had in March was unexpectedly (excuse me?!) enjoyable. I had high expectations for this one as well. First of all, the taste is very strong. It had a refreshing citrus-like acidity, but not so much that it was "sour! I think it was not so much "sour" as "acidic". Then, the main attraction, the soda. The more soda I added, the more easily I could taste the refreshing sourness. The gentle flavor of the white malted rice combined with the shwashiness made it refreshing and enjoyable. It is also good for this severe heat. However, perhaps it is the effect of the white malted rice, but I can't deny that it somehow feels like a shochu highball. Considering the cost performance and availability, it is a difficult question which one to choose next.
