On my last day in Fukuoka, I went to Sumiyoshi Sake Brewery at Hakata Station before boarding the Shinkansen. I definitely wanted to come here.
I decided on Yuma, which I had never tasted before.
It was fresh and fruity, but with a light aftertaste and a slight greenish flavor.
I had it with thick fried bean curd. It was a fun trip to Fukuoka.

It was my first time to try Kitaya. It was a Junmai Daiginjo and definitely delicious, but I was drinking beer while watching baseball, so I didn't really get a good taste of it (sweat).
The kingfish sashimi with soy sauce for the liver was delicious.
We went to Sakana Ichiba at Hakata Station in a good mood after the victory.
The three people sitting next to us were also watching the game, and we had a great time talking together.
Nabeshima is definitely delicious and fruity!
The motsu nabe was lighter and better than expected.

The day before watching the game, we went to Makanai Restaurant in Hakata.

I found this sake at a liquor store I go to. The owner let me taste it and said, "It has a peculiar taste, but is it okay? The owner let me try it. The tasting bottle had been open for a while, so it tasted a little sour, but it was delicious.
When I opened the bottle of the one I bought, it was very fizzy! Sizzling!
Very dry, with a slight rummy flavor. I felt a little bit of an aftertaste that was a bit eggy on the back of the side of my mouth, but when I paired it with a meal, it didn't bother me at all.
After about 4 days, the fuming subsided and became milder. Cosy and a sake I would drink again.

I like Oorigarami the best, but summer sake is also delicious.

Sake from Shingu, Wakayama, where I visited in April for a marathon.
I bought this sake because I heard it was made with water from Nachi Falls.
It is a sake, but it tastes very citrusy! It tastes like javara. It's so strange. It's like squeezing the juice of a bellflower into sake. It refreshes and goes well with oily food!
I received this sake from my hometown tax payment in order to help out in any way I can. It is made from edible rice called Notohikari.
The recommendation was to drink it at room temperature, but I chilled it in the refrigerator. It tastes good cold, but it has a gorgeous floral aroma that spreads more when it is drunk slowly and the chill has subsided.

It's refreshing, crisp, and has a slight fruity aroma. I like it.
It is made from 100% Aomori grown Hanabukiyuki rice, which is a special grade rice.
This is the first rice I've ever had.

It has a sweetness and sourness a little like maple syrup. It's a mild and comfortable drink.

The sake I chose was Dokure, which is labeled as an amazing sake from Kure.
At first sip, I felt a slight sourness, but when paired with food, it was very good.
