The third bottle from yesterday's sake party. Mimuro Sugi Junmai Ginjo Yamadaho was the second bottle. I could not forget the impression I had the last time I drank it, so I bought a repeat. As expected, the sweetness of Yubari melon spread on the palate. It is still delicious. Yesterday, I drank Sengoku, Jikin, and Mimuro Sugi, but I personally like this one the best.

Today is my birthday, so I had a sake party with friends. The first bottle started with Sengoku. It is like a juice. It is light and juicy, so you can guzzle it. It seemed to have a lychee flavor similar to Sentori Mukunin.

Second update. I drank too much and skipped updating. First time at Akabu. And I started with my first autumn sake. Apparently, it is a renewed product. The summer sake had a gorgeous taste, but this autumn sake has a smooth texture and a subdued flavor. It has a fruity flavor, and is best drunk on a cool autumn evening. The sweetness seems stronger on the third day. This is perfect for fall.

Yuzu aroma, strong gasiness, mellower on the tongue than Yamadanishiki, clean but with a long finish. I like the yuzu-like acidity at the moment of drinking, and the flavor through the nose after drinking has a slight vanilla-like flavor.

Congratulations on winning the SAKE COMPETITION 2023 SILVER award. It has a delicious rice flavor, a refreshing feeling, a little bit of a tang, and a slightly carbonated acidity that reminds me of Senkou. It is delicious. There is little fruitiness, but the rice flavor is there. It has a fruity flavor that is more like a white peach, if I had to use a strong analogy. New experience! First day, astringent aroma. Woody aroma like cypress? Rough, slightly carbonated acidity. The moment I opened the lid, it popped, so I wondered if there was gas in it. The first sip is astringent, then the astringency fades and the mouth is filled with flavor and a slight sweetness. It was as if I was tasting a proper ginger ale from a bar or something, not Suntory's ginger ale in a plastic bottle. On the second day, the gaseous sensation seems to have decreased a little and the fruity taste has increased instead. It's a drink that makes you feel drunk when you notice it. People who like sherry casks in whiskey might like it. I don't know.

The aroma is fresh and elegant. The taste is like the sweetness of pear concentrated about 10 times and the delicious flavor of rice hits you. The mouthfeel is refreshing, but after swallowing, the lingering aftertaste with a sense of gravity is wonderful. It has less trompe l'oeil than the Bodai yeast, and the acidity is just as slight. I thought the aroma was green apple? But when I drank it, it was melon. It is more refreshing than I expected. If you compare them for the melon flavor, Mimuro Sugi Yamadaho has a longer aftertaste, which may be more to your liking. However, it has a sour taste that makes you think it is slightly carbonated, which is characteristic of Sengoku. The pleasant acidity is so great that one could be mistaken for a slightly carbonated sake. If I were to drown, I would prefer Sentori.

A cup of Obon. Highly fruity aroma, banana-like and pineapple-like flavors spread from the first sip. The aftertaste is clean and refreshing, and is probably suited for a mealtime drink. Makes me want to take tomorrow off work 😈.

I opened it after the rice wine. You're a melon too, huh? Sentori Organic Naturals kijoshu reminded me of a perfectly ripe red Yubari melon, but this one reminds me of a fresh green melon in season. The refreshing sweetness fills the mouth. The faint sweetness of the melon is also spreading, so you can enjoy the melon feeling even more. I had heard before that "Mimuro cedar is great," and it really is. Anyway, this is my second drink of the day. Keep up the good work, liver!

Juicy and gassy. It has a pleasant balance of fruity sweetness and acidity, like pineapple and tropical fruits. It reminded me of shaved ice with pineapple, tropical fruits, and mango that I had in Okinawa. It has a long aftertaste, with a slight vanilla-like sweetness. It would be good with oily food. It tastes good served firm and cold. This is the rice grown by the Takagi brewery of Jyushiyo.... The impression I got from drinking this sake was that it was beautiful and clear. I can guzzle good sake like juice. Good luck liver!
