As the weather turned cold, I was asked to choose a sake that would go well with the hot pot. The sake is usually served cold, but it can also be served cold or lukewarm, so I would like to try it in a variety of ways!
I tried it with dumplings, but personally I found it subtle.... I thought it would go better with a light and refreshing side dish rather than something punchy.
It goes great with cream cheese! was recommended, and of course it was delicious, and when paired with something stronger in flavor, it was a perfect marriage with the unique flavor of the sake.
It was my first time to consciously drink unfiltered, unfiltered, unfiltered sake, and it was not as peculiar as I had expected! It was not as peculiar as I thought it would be, but it was delicious.
I had a glass of this summer sake at the restaurant. It was described as sparkling, but I couldn't detect that much carbonation.
A refreshing and easy to drink sake.
