Nagurayama Shuzo's Aizu Shikon is brewed in Aizu Wakamatsu City. Although there is a tangy alcoholic stimulation when the sake is first served cold, it has a good balance of sweet, spicy, and bitter tastes, and as the temperature rises, the sweet and umami tastes come out later on. This is a refreshing, yet rich and powerful sake! This is a new brand that was just born 2 years ago, so we will continue to follow it 😋.

I bought it because I wanted to drink it for the first time in a long time! This is the third time I've had it, so I'll spare you my impressions. It has a light, light flavor with a yogurt or yoghurt-like feel, with hints of mushrooms and maltiness. It's perfect with hamburgers and a reset ✨. I found a regular "Kunimori Nigori Shu" on sale, so maybe I'll buy it next time!

I bought a completely unknown alcoholic beverage out of curiosity😅. I'll take it 😎. The first thing that jumped out at me was the acidity and spiciness! I thought for a moment that I don't really like dry sake, but as I continued drinking, it actually wasn't that simple 😁. The flavor is glossy and delicious on the center of the tongue, and the light sweetness on the back of the tongue makes the taste even more enjoyable. As you continue drinking, you will not get bored with the gentle sourness on the tip of your tongue and the bitter taste on the back of your tongue 😚. As it settles down further, it even becomes fruity. At first sip, I thought it was just a dry sake and wondered if I made a mistake, but no way 😳. It was a pleasant taste, and the change in flavor was delightful 😍.

Opened October 30, 2024 Purchased at Seibu Department Store, Sake Sho Yamada Last time was Houraisen, followed by Hourai. Purchased at Kintetsu Department Store event, Sake Tour. I compared it with Junmai Ginjo and was impressed with this one, so I bought it. Fresh and citrusy? It is sweet at the beginning, but the sweetness and umami come in the second half of the bottle. I have to admit that I've only seen Hyo Hyohi at department store events. Apparently, the brewery that makes the sake is in Awa City, which is different from the address on the label.

Sannomaru Autumn hiyaoroshi from Kaito Otokoyama Shuzo. There is almost no standing aroma, but the hint of aroma is pear. It is a junmai sake that was fire-aged before storage and bottled fresh. Like Minatoya Toisuke, this is another brand of Murasuke that I bought because I liked it after tasting it at Ponshu-kan in Echigo Yuzawa. There are many liquor stores that sell Murasuke in Tokyo, but I had never seen this brand before. As its name suggests, it's low in alcohol content at 13%, so it's easy to drink 😚. When you drink it cold, it's light and refreshing, with no hint of bitterness. It's delicious in its own right, but when it's chilled at a cooler temperature, it becomes sweeter and more impressive. I liked it best when it was chilled in the wine cellar at about 15 degrees Celsius 😄. It's interesting to see how it changes with the temperature, but in any case, it's a different direction from the sweet and sour fruity Murasuke. I think it's a fine sake that won't go with any snacks 😋
