I bought it at Aeon while I went to see a movie today. It's the first time for me to drink it. This is 900ml, isn't it? I thought the shape of the bottle was different. This sake is brewed by Umeshiki Yamakawa, a subsidiary of the major sake maker Hakutsuru Shuzo. In recent years, Hakutsuru Shuzo has purchased a number of breweries from across Japan. The Aomori-based brewer Momokawa, which uses Hakutsuru Nishiki, is also a subsidiary company of Hakutsuru Shuzo. Not much of an aroma, slight whiff of alcohol. Dry, watery and clean on the palate, with little umami and a slight alu taste. After drinking it, it has a light throat feeling with a faint sweetness. It is a standard shokuchu sake. For the snacks, we had stewed kalbi and root vegetables, mussel pickled in soy sauce, chili bonito sakutome, and baby star ramen with the flavor of kondashi. It goes best with sakabuto, which enhances its sweetness.

This is also my first Akishika Henohenomoheji, 100% Yamadanishiki, 17% alcohol, slightly yellowish and not spectacular, but with a delicious rice flavor. I've always wanted to try a henohenomoheji. I found it at an izakaya I usually go to, so I tried it 💪. Grain aroma. The taste is quite robust with a gentle sweetness. The back end is astringent? It's good with a sharp finish 😋. I would like to drink it at various temperatures, but since it is an izakaya, I can't go that far 😇. I had it with Ara sashimi and it's great ‼️ I've never had ara before, but the meat is quite firm and filling 🐟. I have a faint memory of ara being in a delicious book 🤣.
