It was the month before last, but I finally landed in Kyushu for the first time. I drank "Tenshin Tokujun" at an izakaya I went to alone as soon as I arrived, and it was delicious. ‼️ I met up with my friends from Hokkaido a few hours later and had another drink! Kyushu Kiku! The label makes you feel like you're in Kyushu 😊It's a little classical, light and spicy, and it makes you want to eat more 😋The "Nuka-daki", which is fish cooked with rice bran, is also good 👍. I liked the Gundam Base that opened at New Chitose Airport before landing in Kyushu.

Price: 2200 yen including tax Zanshin, meaning "leaving a lingering aftertaste. The aroma is Sun-like. It reminds of melon🍈 in the mouth. The acidity is strong, making it a good mid-meal sake. I bought this sake because it was recommended to me instead of the normal one. I was told that it was recommended by Nombeni. ❗️

This is Kyushu Kiku's Kamisen. I have not had this sake since the spring, when I had a bottle of the honjozo (pure sake) at Nishinakasu. I never thought I would see this sake in Tokyo. I had it at room temperature 🍶. The first aroma is sweet with a slight bran-like nuance. It tastes sweet on the palate, like a so-called "normal" sake. The aroma is not so good. It was made in October, so it seems it is not twisted 🤔. Thanks for the drink ✨

Event. Sake Fair 2024. The character "zanshin" evokes the image of a powerful sake 🍶💪. Who wrote these characters? I asked him, and he said he is the head priest of a nearby temple 😄. It's a true local love ❤️ It is a sake. The color is clear. The taste is nutty 🥜 sweet. Mild on the palate. Little ginjo aroma. The sweetness continues until the aftertaste. Sake with a sweetness that seeps through.

I didn't go to the brewery, but I haven't seen Kyushu Chrysanthemum in Tokyo either, so this will be a first for me. The first aroma is sweet with a hint of acidity. In the mouth, there is a slight bitterness and a strong sweet umami taste that is typical of nama sake. This is a honjozo sake, but it is a very good sake that does not feel like it has been alkaloated. The price is also very reasonable at around 1,300 yen for a five-pack. In Tokyo, you only see gougo bottles of kenrishi or shochu 🤔. I wonder if it is more common in the west?
