A local sake from Futtsu, Chiba... A faint fruity aroma... A sweet bitterness with a strong bitterness typical of local sake! The flavor of the rice soaks in... The bitterness is followed by a sharpness! It's a good sake to drink while eating.... It's similar to Kotobuki Mangame from Chiba. It's a drink to be enjoyed in small quantities. Delicious.

Purchased at the Chiba Prefecture Antenna Shop, which was open for a limited time at Hankyu Umeda Station. I had drunk Seisen from the same brewery in the past and was not fond of hiyaoroshi, but I was impressed with it. The first aroma was already gorgeous. It is sweet and a little tangy on the palate. The second half is a little spicy. It was more delicious than I had imagined. Overall, I'd say it's fruity and dry.

The 22nd Hankyu Brewery Festival (1-2) Seisen] and [Takeoka] booths. Takeoka Special Junmai So no Mai Sold out and only available for tasting. Very fruity, sweet and juicy. The rich umami is good. The price is too good to be true, so it is understandable that it is sold out. Takeoka Junmai Ginjo Gohyakumangoku This one was tasted at room temperature, not chilled. I've heard that if you chill it too much, it becomes too crisp and blurred in flavor. The acidity is refreshing and not too dry. Takeoka Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki The nose is sweet from the first whiff. I prefer Sou-no-Mai or Omachi, which are more sweet and tasty. Takeoka Junmai Daiginjo Omachi Fruity, rich, sweet and delicious. I like this one, but it's not my favorite type. This is my favorite type, but it is a bit on the pricey side. I hear there are no places to buy it in the Kansai region. It is only available at product exhibitions, product centers, and antenna stores.

The aroma is gorgeous, sweet and bitter. It is my favorite type of sake, but the sweetness becomes more pronounced at room temperature. It's not a sticky sweetness, but it's easier to drink when it's chilled! It's good to drink it after a meal👌.

This is a honeydew melon flavored sake meal スムージー (makekasu smoothie), not wine. It uses ingredients such as sake meal from Yuomachi rice, honeydew melon syrup, ice cream, and honeydew melon juice. The creaminess of the ice cream blends completely with the sake meal to create a sweet kolpis-like flavor. This is a very interesting drink.

The label, like Akabu's "Amber," has an orange-yellow visual design that makes you look forward to the coming fall and the maple leaves on the mountains. This sake is brewed by Umeshiki Yamakawa, a subsidiary of the major sake maker Hakutsuru Shuzo. In recent years, Hakutsuru Shuzo has purchased a number of breweries from across Japan. The Aomori-based brewer Momokawa, which uses Hakutsuru Nishiki, is also a subsidiary company of Hakutsuru Shuzo. Not much of an aroma, slight whiff of alcohol. Dry, watery and clean on the palate, with little umami and a slight alu taste. After drinking it, it has a light throat feeling with a faint sweetness. It is a standard shokuchu sake. For the snacks, we had stewed kalbi and root vegetables, mussel pickled in soy sauce, chili bonito sakutome, and baby star ramen with the flavor of kondashi. It goes best with sakabuto, which enhances its sweetness.

Next was a sake I'd never seen before, so here it is. As soon as you take a sip, a very unique habit spreads! What is this? What a shocking taste! Looking at the label carefully, I found a hint of plum flavor? If it's the astringent bitter taste of plum, I'm convinced: 🙂‍↕️ I don't think I'll ever drink it again😅.

This is the wrong brand it’s from Tochigi from Hokkan. The cheapest sake in Donquixote in Bangkok and so very smooth and balanced at medium chill. It’s actually very close to water.

Purchased at Mekada Sake Shop in Utsunomiya City A store that I stop by on my way home from a recent trip to the Tohoku region. I saw it wrapped in newspaper in the Tochigi Prefecture's local sake corner and bought it, believing the pop-up sign! It goes great with oden or anything with a Japanese broth! It made the sake taste much better. It was the most delicious sake I have ever had in the sake brewery in Tochigi Prefecture.
