Second souvenir from KazKaz. It is a brand name planned and sold by 7 sake stores in Aomori. Rice used is 100% Hanasoui. The top-tasting aroma is a calm ginjo aroma. The mouthfeel is slightly sweet with a strong umami flavor. The aftertaste is reminiscent of classical sake, and is quickly cut by a refreshing acidity and bitterness. It is an orthodox dry sake, but highly satisfying. Thank you for the treat!

At home. Hatsutanaka Rokuugo. A famous sake, but I didn't know much about it... Yamada-Nishiki, it's a tanaka in the middle of a rice field. I knew it for the first time. The aroma is fruity (Muscat type?). Good balance of sweetness, umami, acidity, and bitterness. It is a quintessential gem, suitable to be enjoyed in a relaxed and leisurely manner.

Junmai-shu, 65% polished rice, brewed by Mr. Tanaka in a sake brewery located in the rice paddies. Tanaka Rokuugo. I knew it was delicious from everyone's postings on Sake no Wa 😊. I thought it would be more of a gusto, but it was a delicious sake with a gentle rice flavor and a light texture♪ Kyushu has an image of shochu, but I was surprised at the high level of sake as well, including Tanaka Rokuugo, Koei Kiku, and Sundo 😆. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other sake I have in stock 😁.

Summer drinking is still in full swing! This time I got to try Manzaku no Hana no Snowman😋. The label is comforting⛄️and the contents are refreshing, sweet and crisp, different from the Umakara Manzaku I drank before😆. Rice used is unknown Since this brewery does not have a sake brewing license, it is said that the brewery goes to Nagano Meisho to make sake. There is a pattern of having sake brewed on consignment, but this method is unusual. I imagined it would be a good old-fashioned sake from the label, but it was light and very easy to drink ❗️. Today we went for a drive to Shinshu 🚗Through the Juushi Pass where my husband used to ride his motorcycle in his youth, we went to a sake brewery in Shinshu with a sense of nostalgia ‼️ We bought a bottle of Miyamanishiki, the first in the Tomisui series 🥰, a sake with a moderate aroma, sweetness to rice flavor, and a nice sharpness, which was intended to be a food sake 🩷. The sweetness and umami were refreshing from the first sip! In a word, "clarity"✨It has a good balance of acidity and bitterness in a light flavor, and is just so refreshing and crisp. ‼️It is 16 degrees, but it is easy to drink because there is no spiciness or alcohol smell, which is bad💓. When I compared it with the Miyamanishiki Junmai Daiginjo, which is made from the same rice as the Miyamanishiki and has a little bit left over in my house, the Miyamanishiki has a slightly stronger and richer aroma than the Miyamanishiki, but both have a well-balanced and light flavor of rice without any spiciness or alcohol smell. Today, we paired it with chilled tofu with leek sauce, gyoza, and sukiyaki udon! The sukiyaki's soft and spicy broth with the egg, combined with the light and delicious Tonomizu, was the perfect combination 🎉. Sake impressions by itself are the responsibility of shinsaku3 💕.
