Then came Oita Chibijin.
The initial aroma is fruity and sweet.
In the mouth, it has a soft sweetness and a very good balance of umami and acidity.
Delicious!
Next is Tanaka Rokugo🍶 from my birthplace, Fukuoka.
The first aroma is faintly sweet.
In the mouth, it has a refreshing sweetness and a mild acidity that finishes off the palate.
This is another well-balanced sake in the modern style.
It was delicious.
I came here to fill in the map of Sake-no-Wa because I had some extra time due to various mishaps in my schedule.
I drank mainly sake from Kyushu, which is not easy to fill in.
I started with Kagoshima's Tenpyo.
I see that this brewery also received technical guidance from Takagi Shuzo, the brewer of the Jyushiyo brand.
The first aroma is like sweet and sour malted rice.
In the mouth, it has an elegant sweetness and a beautiful acidity, and it finishes cleanly.
It is a well-balanced, modern-style sake.
It looks like something but I can't remember 🤔.
It was delicious 🍶.
Drinking place] Ogikubo Ichibei
Tomato and myoga with Tosa vinegar. It is a very refreshing drink with a hint of sourness and umami. It is as easy to drink as water.

Place to drink] Ogikubo Ichibei
Accompanied by kakiage (fried corn and green beans).
It is well-balanced and very tasty, but because of its delicacy, it might have been a better system for the first drink.

The accompaniment is an assortment of sashimi. The fresh juiciness rises after the yeasty flavor and disappears quickly, which is very good.

Drinking place] Ogikubo Ichibei
This is my first visit to Ichibei since its relocation. It is nice to see that they still offer the same great value for money drinking sets as before.
The sashimi platter is a perfect accompaniment. The aroma is clear from the moment it is poured, and the rich flavor is balanced with just the right amount of acidity for a great taste.
