From Ichikozo's website... Only "Koshitanrei" sake rice grown by local sake brewers in the terraced rice paddies of Tochio, a region rich in nature, is used. Ichibrew" brewed with rice grown from the first rice is a beautiful sake that can only be made here in Tochio. It has a light, refreshing finish. Some time ago, I happened to see on TV that the rice fields and the brewery were destroyed by the Chuetsu Earthquake, and that everyone rebuilt the rice fields and the brewery together. I definitely wanted to buy this sake. It goes well with all kinds of Japanese food! Is it only available in March and April?

Was this sake made by the Tennoji branch of the Osaka Prefecture Sake Brewers Association? I have a picture of it, so I will post it, but I don't remember it....

According to Hinomaru Brewing's website, they bottle the sake gently by hand so as not to lose the fizzy feeling of nama-shu. The fizziness was alive and well, and it was the most fizziest of all the nama-shu I have had so far. It is slightly dry with a slight roundness to it, which I like.

We had three kinds of drinks for comparison. This is the right end of the three types. It has a yellowish taste compared to the others. The aroma is a little stronger. It smells a bit like sake. I asked for this to be added to the three types (without knowing what it would be like). However, it went very well with the kanzuri sakadori, one of the entrées I ordered, and the smell that bothered me when I drank it by itself did not bother me at all.

We had three different kinds of drinks to compare. This is the middle one of the three. I think I still like the fruity, slightly fizzy one. .... My favorite drink is Champagne.... I had no idea what kind of drink this was, but it's my favorite of the three, and the drink just keeps going and going. It goes well with light entrées.

We were given three different types to drink. The leftmost of the three is colorless and clear. Slightly effervescent, as is typical of nama-shu. Although it was less sparkling than the other Hana Kyun, it was refreshing and fruity. I think it goes well with everything.

Akirika, a sake from Nose, purchased in Nose. I drink it at home. Of the various types of sake I bought, this is the first one I opened, aragoshi-nama-shu. It is slightly effervescent and fruity, not only in taste but also in aroma. I like it very much. I drank it in a variety of shapes, but I liked it in a Bordeaux type wine glass and a small cup with a narrow mouth. The trumpet shape also had a nice aroma.
