It has a perfect balance of spiciness and sweetness, and is a well-balanced sake right in the middle. It has a freshly-opened, shwai-pichi feeling and is delicious.

It is nigori (nigori is a clear, sweet rice liquor) but not too sweet, and although it has a rice flavor, it is dry and refreshing. It can be paired with anything.

The soda aroma was in the air before I drank it, and when I drank it, it tasted exactly like it should. The balance between the elegant schwaginess and sweetness and flavor is excellent up to that point.

The other day's Kurei was 60% polished, but this time it was 50% polished.
It seems similar, but this one is a bit sweeter. It is basically a dry sake with some miscellaneous flavors, so I think the 60% polished version has a better sense of balance.

It may be called a dry sake, but it has just the right balance of sweetness and umami, and this rightness is not often encountered. It is delicious.
