Memorandum for myself I drank Harukasumi in Akita last year. Last time I drank their standard sake, which was very good, so this time I chose this one made with yeast No. 6. I thought it would be a gorgeous modern style, but it was a little different. It has a strong punch, but the acidity helps it go down a treat.

Memorandum for myself Here are the spoils of my trip to Yamagata. This is a collaboration with 10 sake stores in Yamagata Prefecture. Therefore, the sake is only available at the sponsored sake stores in Yamagata. Opening the bottle was smooth. When poured into a vessel, it is quite golden in color. The aroma is subdued. When you put it in your mouth, it has a punch. However, the sweetness of the rice could also be felt. It was crisp with little aftertaste.

Memorandum for myself It was a waste of time to open the bottle and I could hardly keep it open. The bottle is fermenting in the bottle, so be careful when opening it. It took quite a long time, but the bottle was opened without incident. When we poured it into the glass, it was the first one ever! The aroma is slightly woody. In the mouth, you can clearly feel the acidity, but it is not unpleasantly sour. All of the sakes from this brewery are complex and difficult to describe, but they are still delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹.

The aroma is sweet malted rice. When you put it in your mouth, it is mildly sweet and sour. There is a certain amount of sweetness, but it is easy to drink because there is also acidity to cover it. Memorandum for myself Spoils of war from my visit to Iwate Prefecture in May. This is the first brand I have not seen at my favorite liquor store. The bottle is smooth and slightly yellow when poured into a bowl. One sip and you can taste the ripe strawberries ๐Ÿ“. It's so easy to drink and delicious! A jackpot!

Memorandum for myself I was able to purchase this year's bottle without incident. The bottle is perforated, so it was not too difficult to open. When you mix the lees and pour it into a cup, you feel a shwash. When you put it in your mouth, the bitterness comes first, then the sweetness. The aftertaste is clean and not too bitter. Memorandum for myself The bottle was opened with a pop, as if it were a fresh sake! It was very vigorous. When poured into a glass, it had a slight yellow tinge. The aroma is fruity, but not fully ripe and youthful. When you put it in your mouth, you immediately feel the acidity. It is really like strawberry. It is not fully ripe either, but tastes young and sour like a first harvest. As the days go by, you can enjoy the change, and from around the 5th day, the acidity weakens and the sweetness increases, making it an elegant strawberry. It was delicious.

Memorandum for myself I bought this last year and made a huge mistake in opening the bottle, so I took my revenge! It is an outrageous liquor that blows out about half of the bottle. This time, as the warning says, I made a hole with a thousand pieces of paper and gradually let the gas out instead of draining it immediately. The label is also provocative with a gorilla holding dynamite. It took a little over 30 minutes to open the bottle. Finally, the bottle was opened, but it took so long that I didn't really care what happened to it. When I poured it into a glass, it was fizzing strongly as a matter of course. As I had struggled so much when opening the bottle, it was almost as expected. When I put it in my mouth, the fizz was so strong that I could not detect even a trace of rice flavor. It is just a bitter, strongly carbonated water. After the second or third day, I finally got used to it and was able to confirm the sweet and savory flavors. I wonder if the intention is to have fun opening the bottle with a picture and warning on the label? It wasn't fun at all, but...
