This is delicious. Kamerei purchased at Okazaki Sake Brewery on a recent visit to the Ueda castle ruins was brought to a sake party for drinking! The rich flavor, carbonation, and sharpness that comes afterwards are unmistakable. It is a sake that is not often available, and I am extremely happy to be able to enjoy it!

Limited edition sake "Hyakusaiji Barrel" purchased at Hyakusaiji Temple in Shiga Prefecture, which we visited recently. I couldn't buy it when I visited last year, so I finally got around to buying it this year. The sake has a ginjo aroma that passes smoothly in the mouth, a sweetness of rice that comes later, and a crisp aftertaste that adds to the ease of drinking. It also goes well with the dried squid I bought in Himi the other day. A most luxurious time to enjoy sake and snacks bought on a trip at home!

With Kanazawa Oden. Takeba's pure rice sake with raw yeast, made entirely from ingredients grown in Noto. The yeast is extracted from Noto's seaweed. Served cold, it has a full aroma, a robust flavor, and a sweet, heavy texture. As an aside, a friend of mine who lives in Kanazawa, with whom I shared a drink later, also said "Takeha is delicious," so it seems that Takeha is loved by the locals as well.

This gold look that intrigues from the outside The mouthfeel is fresh. First impression, sweet! Fruity aroma of green apple that comes afterwards! A sense of sharpness at the end! A drink worth drinking! A perfect match with the salted sea squirt I ordered for my entrée!

Seasonal Mizutoki served in a drinking contest. It has an elegant grain-like aroma when left at room temperature for a while. In the mouth, it has a sourness, but a richness like amazake (sweet sake) spreads later, and finally it settles into a crisp mouthfeel. Although it has a sake meter of -2.1, it has a sharpness that makes it perfect for an after-dinner drink.

It is apparently the store's original version of Haginotsuru, with a label that reads, "We aimed to create a sake that is like fine everyday wear. This was the first time I learned about Hagi no Tsuru's brewing concept of "like everyday clothes," but when I drank it, I found it to be very mild and smooth, with no peculiarities, and the flavor of the rice could be felt only in the mouthfeel! It really goes down easily, just like everyday clothes.

Iwamura Brewery's "Onna Jyoshu" purchased during a stroll in Iwamura Castle Town. I bought it because it was highly acclaimed in overseas competitions. I chilled it in the hotel refrigerator and had a glass of chilled sake. It was still a bit limp, but the flavor was wonderful. It has a refreshing taste that is not typical of sake, followed by a full-bodied sweetness and sharpness. I would like to drink it in a wine glass.

Nice to meet you! I visited this warehouse on a trip to commemorate my 20 years of service during my working years. We took the Akechi Railway. It had a rich aroma and full flavor. It is one of my favorite brands.

It's Sunday night, so a little blue past post. North Akita Nigori Sake. A sweet, easy-drinking sake with a sake content of -7.5. Perfect for my sweet sake taste. It is a sake that I have fond memories of drinking with someone I liked and saying how delicious it was. I want to drink it again...

Drinking alone on the road today. At Tonpachi in Sendai Atago no matsuri and grilled beef tail. Meat goes surprisingly well with sake. And then there is this Atago no Matsumatsu. Even though it is a honjozo sake, it has a mellowness that cannot be underestimated, and a refreshing sensation that lives up to its name of "sharp and dry". It is so tasty that the fat from the beef tail is washed away. It was a perfect match.
