Expedition return. The last one was "Hoyo" brewed at Miyagi Prefecture's oldest sake brewery, founded in 1661. It has a gentle taste that rounds out the mellow flavor. It has a gentle, nostalgic impression that reminds one of a perfectly round ball of wool. This is the kind of sake I would like to have with me every night. Delicious: ❗️

Expedition return. Second bottle of Izakaya Komachi. This is the first "Manazuru" I have had. Pale gold in color, it has a rather robust flavor. We had it cold, but it would also be enjoyable heated. (Heating sake in the car is not an option, though. I would like to enjoy other brands of "Manazuru" as well. It is delicious.

Return from expedition. Opening of Izakaya Komachi. The first is Katsuyama's edge. The gorgeous aroma and soft flavor that makes the interior of the car a happy place in no time. A delicious sake brewed with 100% Hitomebore. You can enjoy the deliciousness of Miyagi's sake. Delicious: ❗️

Sake sold on a sightseeing train during an excursion. I thought it was an unfamiliar brand, but it was from the Yamawa Sake Brewery of "Yamawa". It has a soft, clear sweetness with a refreshing aftertaste. It has a reassuring taste that makes you feel at ease. The accompaniment was dried hoya from Sanriku. Full of the aroma of the sea, it was a perfect match. A bottle of sake to enjoy the pleasure of local sake on your trip. Delicious ❗️

Local liquor obtained on the expedition. I drank it without any preconceived notions, but I was relieved by its clean mouthfeel and gentle flavor. I am sure it would be even more flavorful if drunk in winter. It is delicious.

I opened a bottle of "A-Sakura", which is a regular item at a nearby liquor store, but I never had a chance to drink it. It has a clear, crisp acidity and a core flavor. The alcohol content is high at 17% because it is a pure sake, but it is easy to drink without getting tired of drinking it. It is perfect for the early summer months when you are sweating. This is one of the bottles that made me think about digging into "A-Sakura" at the sake shop even more. It is delicious. ❗️

This is a bottle with a cute frog in it for the rainy season. It has an impressive acidity that is refreshing and tightens the inside of the mouth. The flavor is enhanced when drunk well chilled during this season when the temperature begins to rise. It is also delicious with bitter summer vegetables. This bottle reminds us that summer sake has arrived. Delicious: ‼️

Maruishi Brewery's "Maruishi" is one of my favorites. I opened a bottle of this sake, which is my favorite pure rice sake, unfiltered and unpasteurized. The taste has a well-balanced flavor with a lactic acidity that is typical of a sake yeast yeast yeast, with a hint of sweetness and bitterness. It is rare to find an unfiltered, unfiltered, pure sake made from the traditional sake yeast, but this one is a taste that makes me want to drink it anytime. It is a great partner for summer vegetables such as tomatoes and boiled corn. It is a bottle that should be drunk by both Ni-Hare and Nama-Hashiroshi lovers. Delicious: ‼️

I tried "Wakamusume" for the first time, which was regularly available at a nearby liquor store, but I had not been able to get my hands on it. It has a gentle taste with a slight sparkle and a refreshing, lactic sweetness that quickly settles on the tongue. The "secret color" is said (from the label on the back of the bottle) to be the color of the "junihitoe" or "twelve-layered kimono," and the gradation of flavors makes this a chic sake to enjoy. Take a long sip with the soy-sauce flavored heartfish and then drink this one, and you will be in an endless loop of deliciousness. This is a bottle that makes you want to enjoy other brands of "Wakamusume" as well. It is delicious. ‼️

A different kind of Houou Mita, which we love. We opened a bottle of this one brewed with wine yeast. Since it is made with wine yeast, it is served in my favorite glass wine glass. The taste has a clear, clean acidity and a refreshing fruity sweetness that spreads quickly. It is a strange sake that reminds me of a Japanese white wine from Koshu. This is a bottle that I would love to let my white wine-loving friends drink. Delicious ‼️

It's a seasonal satsuki sake from Collage. The first bottle is a light nigori (light nigori) summer gin, which I drank last year and met again this year. When you pour it into the sake cup, you can see a thin misty cloudiness. The aroma has a refreshing lactic acidity, and the umami and sweetness are very smooth on the tongue. It has a refreshing taste that is perfect for the slightly sweaty season. The best thing about it is that it's so refreshing. Delicious ‼️

Nisato is the first sake that I personally enjoy anytime I drink it. This time, we opened a bottle of raw Bizen Omachi sake. The first sip reveals a gorgeous aroma passing through the nostrils, followed by an impressive flavor with a fresh, slightly effervescent taste. The well-balanced flavor typical of Omachi makes you want to drink more and more. We are always impressed with Nisato's Omachi. I would definitely like to drink this bottle again next year. It is delicious. ‼️

This summer Yago Blue was so good that I went on a little expedition to look for pink Yago. We caught it and opened a bottle of this one. It has a fresh acidity like biting into a lime, and a crisp, clean flavor. When we paired it with marinated bonito and olive oil, the fresh aroma of the olives mingled pleasantly and we applauded. With an alcohol content of only 13%, it is perfect as a pre-dinner or mid-dinner drink. A great bottle to accompany you at the beginning of a sweaty summer. Delicious: ‼️

When I find this label at a liquor store, I feel the beginning of early summer. I opened a bottle of Izumihashi Summer Yago Blue for my partner for a little luxurious lunchtime drinking. It is a junmai sake with a light and refreshing taste, but with a rich and delicious flavor that lingers on the tongue. I have been drinking it for the past few years, but isn't this year's sake delicious? Losing out to the heat during the day, I took a quick bite of kimchi with somen noodles as a chopstick rest. I was surprised at how well it went with the sourness of the kimchi. A bottle to my liking, feeling the beginning of the summer sake season. Delicious. ‼️

Koei Kiku" was found at a liquor store on a short trip. I opened a bottle of "SNOW CRESCENT", which I had never had before. It has a refreshing taste with a slight effervescence that goes well with the early summer when you start to sweat. It has just the right amount of sweetness and just the right amount of effervescence. In addition to the pleasant taste, it also goes down your throat nicely. Although the snowflake on the back label confuses the sense of seasonality of early summer, the taste is a perfect match for the season. Delicious. ‼️

With fond memories of the delicious sake we drank last year, we went looking for Hotaru at the liquor store again this year. We successfully found it and opened a bottle of this one. The pleasant acidity and the crisp flavor are impressive. The label on the back of the bottle lists "compatible dishes" which is a nice touch. When drunk with salted squid, the acidity of the sake becomes just the right salty flavor, and it is also delicious. This is a bottle that will make me want to go to the liquor store again next year to look for fireflies. Delicious ‼️

I drank for the first time "Tatobi" from Nakashimaya Shuzo in Yamaguchi, Japan. 600 four-pack bottles were made in the first year of production, 2024. We received a rare bottle. We opened the bottle. The rice polishing ratio is undisclosed, but the sake is full of flavor, with a slight effervescence and a clear, clean acidity and umami flavor. In addition to sashimi, it tastes like it would go well with Japanese food with dashi broth. A bottle that raised my expectations for new sake encounters to be produced in the future. Delicious: ‼️

Last day of GW. Today, barbecue hot sake at a local barbecue. My partner was Kamikame. It's a great sake, with a rich rice flavor. It's a great partner for meat as well. You can enjoy the pleasure of drinking hot sake outside. Delicious. ‼️

While exploring a liquor store, I came across "Koei Kiku". Without hesitation, I took it home and opened a bottle of "Dusk Orange," which I was having for the first time. The first time I opened a bottle of "Dusk Orange", I was greeted with a refreshing citrus aroma. It has a beautifully acidic taste with a gentle sweetness, which explains why it is called "Dusk Orange". Even though it is unfiltered, the alcohol content is kept at a low 14%, so it is easy to drink. This is one of the seasonal sake from Koueikiku that I would like to try again. Delicious: ‼️

The first bottle of Akaban Omachi is my favorite Kuraku, which I look forward to seeing every year at this time of year. The sweetness and flavor of the fresh fruit is very sweet and tasty. Although the alcohol content is a little high at 16%, it does not make you tired of drinking it and you can't stop yourself from having another glass. It is a bottle that I would like to drink again next year at this time of year. Delicious: ‼️
