Sea Urchin and Sake You can't go wrong with this! Sake with a hint of sourness and sea urchin with a hint of sweetness are the best! Both have a pure taste with no artificial flavors or superfluous ingredients. Too bad my business trip to Tohoku is going to be less and less 😢.

Atago no matsu with ascidians and oysters A refreshing sake that goes down your throat easily. It is best when paired with slightly bitter ascidians and tasty oysters. How can this not be delicious?

KANITA bought at the roadside station next to KANITA station With yakiboshi ramen noodles It goes well with the slightly salty sauce. After that, I drank it with iron. The robust taste leaves a lingering aftertaste in the mouth. A little bitterness lingers in the mouth, which is also nice.

There are no more trains running on the rails... While it's still on the line, here we are. This is the station at the end of Honshu. Now there is a substitute bus running, and I am taking the bus while imagining the railroad 🚌. A 20-minute walk from the station is a sushi restaurant, where I had a seafood bowl full of seafood with no smell! The seafood, including the tuna, was excellent! The sake was soft, fluffy, sweet and fragrant! It goes well with this kaisendon!

Local Itami Sake in Tohoku We wanted to do this once. We brought okaki (Japanese crackers) as snacks. It's nice to have a familiar local taste plus the feeling of traveling! After the bitter taste, a subtle aroma spreads in your mouth! It goes well with the soy sauce flavored Okaki, but I'm worried about the sugar content 😭 I mean... here we are. If only we'd come a little earlier... it's a sad sight... although it's a traveler's dream

Thank you, Ponchan 😊. I have ridden all the railroads and BRT lines in Tohoku, including substitute buses! The roofs of houses, rice fields and mountains are so different from those in Kansai, so when I come to Tohoku, I feel like I've come a long way!

Drinking iron this morning I've been kicking my feet up in Sendai for work, but this is only a few more times! So, I hope I have no regrets about my work and drinking... I've been drinking low-alcohol sake since this morning. The sweetness and carbonation of the sake is delicious 😋. No bitterness, no harsh taste, and if it were non-alcoholic, even children would be able to guzzle it! Of course, we also had local sea squirt with our entrée! I wonder how many check-ins we can get today!

This is the last of today's drinking iron This sake is also sweet! Tottori Prefecture has a sweet soy sauce used for sashimi, so maybe they also have a sweet taste for sake! The sweetness of the sake alone leaves a lingering taste in your mouth, but when you drink it with the chikuwa, it seems to cancel each other out.

Kani Sushi in Summer It is good to be able to eat crab even in summer! The vinegar, which is not too harsh, whets the appetite! I was tired after climbing the castle and didn't have much of an appetite, so thank goodness for that! The sake was full of pictures of seafood, so I thought it would be dry, but it was quite sweet and bitter! However, this sweetness is just right for crab sushi! Just when I finished my bento, the sake was gone too!

Tottori Castle Sweaty 💦 because it is a mountain castle. From the castle tower, you can see the dunes. As one would expect, the descent was not good, so we went down to the foot of the castle and drank... This sake is surprisingly pear! The refreshing aroma of 20th century pears combined with the crisp sake is uniquely delicious! I think even people who don't like sake will enjoy this sake, plus I have a feeling I'm going to fall in love with sake from here! I've found a great sake!

Sendai is full of people in Hatsune Miku shirts! There seems to have been an event I love local collaboration events like this 😊. I have one or two more business trips to Sendai, including today! I went to an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) to try sea squirt, which I never see in the Kansai region. Sea squirt ajillo and sake go well together! The sake has a refreshing aroma that goes through your nose and seems to flow down your throat when you drink it! It was definitely a great combination with sea squirt!

Otokoyama is located all over Japan, but it originated in Itami. Now, Konishi has taken over the name in Itami. It is a dry sake with a sharp aftertaste. However, the sake itself has a deep flavor with umami and bitterness. Riding the train, we were in Tohoku in no time! I thought again how fast the bullet train is 🚅.

Today is the day before a business trip via my parents' house It's a petit drinking iron. Two sake breweries in my hometown of Itami: Shumatsu and Hakusetsu (Konishi Shuzo). First, let's start with Omamatsu... With side dishes from a nearby Kansai supermarket 😊. Old pine is a sweet sake. This sweet sake is delicious. It also has a little bitterness, and surprisingly, the aftertaste is delicious, with no sweetness remaining, only a lingering aftertaste!

Nagano to Niigata The scenery in Niigata is really beautiful! I was so caught up in the scenery that I drank my third bottle early in the morning! This sake is delicious with a slightly bitter taste! It's a great combination with local snacks, the spiciness is tempered by the sake and the sweetness of the sake is tempered by the snacks 😃. Keeping my health in mind, I guess I'll stop here today 😭. It was another good drinking iron today: ‼︎

The same Omachi sake, but a different taste from Hokian Okuni Sake is a mystery, isn't it? Or maybe it's the effort of the producers. Thank you 😊 This sake has a slightly sour taste. This sourness gives it a refreshing aftertaste. But when you drink it, you can feel the sweetness of the sake. It is a delicious sake 🍶.
