This time, the drinking iron was from Aizu Wakamatsu on the way back from a business trip. Although it is a reconstructed castle tower, it is a magnificent red-tiled castle tower. I think the day will come when it will become a cultural asset like Osaka Castle. I think it will one day become a cultural asset like Osaka Castle. At a restaurant near the castle, I had a bowl of pork cutlet rice topped with kozuyu (soy sauce and soy sauce) and sake! This kozuyu with lots of ingredients is delicious 😋! The sake is so smooth that it goes right through your tongue when you drink it, but the aroma spreads in your mouth! Delicious!

The last stop on this drinking train was with an ekiben. Purchased in Sendai, as it was a newly released ekiben! It was sold with Takashimizu, which has become a rarity on conventional trains.... Oh, I forgot to check in last week!

Continuing to pick up some ascidians... Joban Line, the brick tunnels of the old line are still there. I think that after another 20-30 years, it will be a heritage of modernization. It is in such a beautiful state that I think it will become a modernization heritage. This sake has a bitter taste in addition to the sweetness. This bitterness is delicious with ascidians😋. It would go well with a variety of food 😀.

I'm on my way home this morning. But it's a conventional train trip! It's hard to drink in a very bumpy train 🫨. I want to drink, but I want to eat nicely. This sake has a lot of sweetness. However, it has a nice aftertaste and goes well with sea squirt!

Sequel to the ship I thought I might not be able to buy anything on the ship, so I bought a cup of sake near the boarding gate It's a Hoya Boya sake, so I went with the Hoya. Unlike the cute design of this sake, it has a pretty robust flavor! It goes very well with the slightly bitter sea squirt!

Actually, I stayed in Miyagi again yesterday. I really wanted to visit Okawa Elementary School, which was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, as a sign of repose for the souls of the dead... So, on the way back, I took a boat from Matsushima to Shiogama instead of a round trip. Chilled Ichinokura is refreshing! The dry sake goes well with the sweet noshii-squid! Marubun Steamship has openable windows, so it was nice to enjoy the sea breeze.

After Yamadera, a twilight cruise to Matsushima This cruise is only available during this season. It's a drinking boat! The same scenery becomes more sentimental when seen in the evening. I mean...this view of Matsushima is really magnificent in person! The sake is really refreshing! It's as if the flavor and richness of the pickled cheese had not been there at all, and your mouth will feel refreshed! The view and the sake, what could be more luxurious than this?

A drink after descending from a mountain temple After a hard day's work, a drink is a special treat! The slightly sour taste of this sake will easily penetrate your tired body. It also goes perfectly with the second taro stew of the day! Imoni is full of flavor from the meat and taro, and it goes well with the image of resetting it in your mouth!

Hi Nobu Nobu 😃 I would like to visit the mountain temple once 🥹. But it's quintessential that you drink before and after climbing the mountain for worship 🤗That's helpful!

Jay & Nobby No, no, please don't refer to me. You never know what can happen when you climb drunk 🙇. But don't underestimate the sweet potato stew, it was really delicious!

Sake that goes in easily without corners. But it has a delicious umami flavor. Before going up to the mountain temple (Risshakuji), let's eat up! A perfect combination of meat and sweet potato with taro soba noodles!

The second check-in in the morning Nice sake with the taste of rice! Is this cheap sake? It's a cheap sake! I think it could be sold for 1000 yen if it was branded like wine... For a businessman like me, it's a blessing! At the mountain pass, I got that Rikimochi (rice cake): ‼︎ They were selling it on the platform. The number of pieces sold at the Pass Station is probably very small, but I guess that's how the stores feel about it! I am very thankful to the railroad lovers! The rice cakes were delicious and slightly salty.

It's been a long time since I've had a drink today Start with a cup of sake! This cup of sake is made from a traditional sake brewer's yeast. It has a sweet taste, but it's refreshing 😋. A nice cup of sake and a good mood in the morning 😄. And this last photo is the print on the back of the cup label! You can feel the love of the brewer!

Sea Urchin and Sake You can't go wrong with this! Sake with a hint of sourness and sea urchin with a hint of sweetness are the best! Both have a pure taste with no artificial flavors or superfluous ingredients. Too bad my business trip to Tohoku is going to be less and less 😢.

KANITA bought at the roadside station next to KANITA station With yakiboshi ramen noodles It goes well with the slightly salty sauce. After that, I drank it with iron. The robust taste leaves a lingering aftertaste in the mouth. A little bitterness lingers in the mouth, which is also nice.

There are no more trains running on the rails... While it's still on the line, here we are. This is the station at the end of Honshu. Now there is a substitute bus running, and I am taking the bus while imagining the railroad 🚌. A 20-minute walk from the station is a sushi restaurant, where I had a seafood bowl full of seafood with no smell! The seafood, including the tuna, was excellent! The sake was soft, fluffy, sweet and fragrant! It goes well with this kaisendon!

Local Itami Sake in Tohoku We wanted to do this once. We brought okaki (Japanese crackers) as snacks. It's nice to have a familiar local taste plus the feeling of traveling! After the bitter taste, a subtle aroma spreads in your mouth! It goes well with the soy sauce flavored Okaki, but I'm worried about the sugar content 😭 I mean... here we are. If only we'd come a little earlier... it's a sad sight... although it's a traveler's dream

Thank you, Ponchan 😊. I have ridden all the railroads and BRT lines in Tohoku, including substitute buses! The roofs of houses, rice fields and mountains are so different from those in Kansai, so when I come to Tohoku, I feel like I've come a long way!

Drinking iron this morning I've been kicking my feet up in Sendai for work, but this is only a few more times! So, I hope I have no regrets about my work and drinking... I've been drinking low-alcohol sake since this morning. The sweetness and carbonation of the sake is delicious 😋. No bitterness, no harsh taste, and if it were non-alcoholic, even children would be able to guzzle it! Of course, we also had local sea squirt with our entrée! I wonder how many check-ins we can get today!

This is the last of today's drinking iron This sake is also sweet! Tottori Prefecture has a sweet soy sauce used for sashimi, so maybe they also have a sweet taste for sake! The sweetness of the sake alone leaves a lingering taste in your mouth, but when you drink it with the chikuwa, it seems to cancel each other out.

Kani Sushi in Summer It is good to be able to eat crab even in summer! The vinegar, which is not too harsh, whets the appetite! I was tired after climbing the castle and didn't have much of an appetite, so thank goodness for that! The sake was full of pictures of seafood, so I thought it would be dry, but it was quite sweet and bitter! However, this sweetness is just right for crab sushi! Just when I finished my bento, the sake was gone too!
