I really wanted to ride on the Eva wrapped train... I got to ride the Amahama Line, which I had wanted to ride! A train running slowly on the north side of Lake Hamana. I hope it will remain forever! Actually, this sake is a rare sake from a liquor store in front of Kakegawa station. Sake with a nice sharpness 🍶. Just when you think the umami has spread to your mouth, it disappears! However, the umami before it disappears has a nice, clean taste! No wonder the old lady at the liquor store praised it so highly! Please try it when you visit Kakegawa!

Petit Izu drinking train after work yesterday Finally, I took the Shinkansen that I could finally get... First, we had dinner at Hakone Soba at Odawara station to finish our meal 😊 As I thought, Ekisoba is reasonably priced and delicious 🤤. Now, on to the Shinkansen, and the dried bonito flakes and nyankappu👍 that I've been eating since Izukyu! They go so well together, don't they? I mean, this Nyankappu has a nice aroma and flavor, but it secretly says Junmai Ginjo on the label: ‼️ Even those who bought it for the label were surprised when they drank it 🍶. Of course it goes well with dried bonito flakes, and I wanted to taste it as it is, but it was gone too soon 😭. I hope everyone will be attracted by the design and buy it! The inside is perfect 👌👍

Continued from yesterday With the dried bonito flakes I bought in Shimoda... When I asked the shopkeeper about the dried bonito flakes, he told me that they are originally used to make thick soup stock, but they are also good for snacks! When you chew it, the flavor comes out slowly and there is no smell! So, this Shimoda Reimei! I imagined it to be a refreshing sake from the label, but it is quite a tasty sake! A sake that you can enjoy the aftertaste even without an entrée! However, this time I paired it with bonito flakes that are full of umami, so I got the impression that it would make the inside of my mouth clean and delicious! After all, it is luxurious in the mouth! After all, there is nothing better than a train window + local food + local sake! There is nothing better than this 😊.

Izu is the time of year for golden threadfin bream? Speaking of kinmedai, it is boiled ‼︎ So, I'm going to have arabashiri with simmered kinmedai. As you can see from the picture alone, it was delicious! The sake is not peculiar and crispy! It is the kind of sake that can easily wash away the strong flavors of the simmered dish! The soy sauce is a little salty, but the saltiness of the soy sauce is also removed. We enjoyed the food and sake!

The last one today is this Nanpou. It is a sake with a bitter taste! It has a ginjo aroma and sweetness, but thanks to this bitterness, the inside of the mouth feels clean and refreshing! Also, it goes well with the Harizushi sushi! The sushi with takikomi-gohanai wrapped in takikomi-gohanai seems to take away the remaining aroma of sake at the end. Finally, we were able to take the chin-chin train! I really wanted to ride an old train...but it is best to ride a train that is running well!

Oops, this... This may be the quintessence of Konishi Sake Brewery. A sweet sake with little acidity and a strong bitter taste. It is not the latest trend, but it gives the impression of Itami's sake. I like it as it is, but if you eat it with cheese, as the name suggests, the cheese and the sake are mysteriously sucked into your throat together, giving it a nice aftertaste. By the way, it was a perfect match with Nara-zuke (pickles) as well.

It's a Kintetsu train, but it's not Kintetsu. It runs leisurely and normally. Sake: Sawanotsuru from the convenience store! I didn't have time to buy any food this morning, and drank only sake! Unhealthy? Or maybe I'm just an iron-drinker. Sake from major breweries has a very different image from the old cheap and bad sake! This sake has a lot of umami in the mouth! You can't taste any harshness. The umami flavor lingers in the aftertaste, which is great for me when I'm hungry! Reclining on the express train and looking out the window... It's a very pleasant experience. By the way, this Oigawa Railway has been out of service since the middle of the day due to the previous heavy rain. With earthquakes, heavy rains, and depopulation in the rural areas, it has been a difficult time for the regional railroads.
