Staying at a budget mountain inn in Omachi today And... there is an evening festival of the Wakaichi Oji Festival in Omachi! We are super lucky! It was powerful to watch the big floats pass each other and play their musical accompaniment as they passed each other here and there! There were also 6 big floats, which seemed to show the prosperity of Omachi! This sake was made to be easy to drink outdoors! Perfect for today! It was a delicious sake with a sweet and sour aftertaste and a nice aroma even through its thin mouth while drinking.

I went to Kyoto on an errand and found out that the Gion Festival starts tomorrow! I went to Kyoto to take care of some business, and had a drink while watching the Hoko float assembly. Drinking sake outside while watching the Hoko floats on the rocks 🍶 is a special treat! The chilled sake goes down your throat easily. And even when the ice melts, it doesn't become watery and refreshing.

Enjoying private space at PRiVACE, the dream space of Hankyu Railway The luxury space of the Hankyu Railway: ‼︎ I bought this Enayama without looking at the price tag, so I was 🫢surprised🫢 at the cashier. However, it was still a delicious sake that matched the price! It's sweet, refreshing, and top of the line! Luxury at PRiVACE for 500 yen more ^_^. It was a nice space to blow away the blur of a week♪

The last drink of the day is Niigata sake with the bus center curry flavored persimmon seeds we just ate. It is a strong sake, but has a clean aftertaste. It goes well with the kaki no tane. That's all for today. ‼︎ Now I'm going to get in shape for tomorrow!

Sasa no Mai at Sasakawagare Drinking iron from this morning! I've been on a tightrope of new projects at work lately, so please forgive me for this kind of cheat-die once in a while 🙇. Delicious cup of sake! The taste is quite strong, but the aftertaste is refreshing! It goes well with the greens and miso flavor of the Benkei rice balls. By the way, I had over an hour to change trains at Niigata station, so I had my first Bus Center Curry! Even the mini portion is very hearty! Momotaro ice cream was also perfect for a body heated up by the curry!

On the Rikuu-Nishi Line substitute bus I have only a few more business trips left in Tohoku, so I can't wait for the Rikuu-Nishi Line to reopen... I hope that the line, including the substitute bus, will do well as a local footstep. This time, it was nice to take the substitute bus while looking at the railway line, which is a different feeling from usual! The sake was still cold, so it went down my throat smoothly. The sweetness like sake lees soup passes through the mouth, and the taste is refreshing at the end. Perfect for summer!

Here's an addition to yesterday's drinking train. This car is basically a long seat, but some of them have cross seats, which is nice for travelers! I've checked in many times for hiyashi-bori, but it is very special to drink it on a trip 😄. I used to think it was quite sweet, but it is a delicious sake with a subtle aftertaste. I love a good sweet and refreshing sake!
