Niigata's Local Sake at Tsukioka Onsen, Niigata_No.3
The last one is a brand I had wanted to try for a long time. I was told that it is not for sale. It seems to be hard to find.
Sashi-Drinking with Young People_Part 2
The second drink was a brand from the Tokyo Brewery. It was my first time to drink it, but it made me feel nostalgic.
Today, too, with sake from my hometown, Shiga.
Doukan, a brand associated with Ota Doukan, the builder of Edo Castle.
The sake brewer is said to have Ota Doukan as a distant ancestor (according to their website).
With my wife at the desk on the balcony.
The brand name is from a sake brewery near my parents' house.
I don't have a picture of it, but the accompaniment was funazushi, a specialty of Shiga Prefecture. The breeze was pleasant and we were in a drunken mood.
If it gets a little colder, we'll have it hot. ☺️
Family Drinking_Part 2
My wife and daughter also wanted to drink sake. The second bottle was a too major brand. It had been a long time since I had had it, but it had a great flavor. We finished with Japanese buckwheat noodles.
About 30 years ago, Hakkaisan was too popular and hard to find. I used to buy it at a liquor store in front of the station every time I went on a business trip to Niigata. I remember that besides Hakkaisan, Echino Kanmei, Kubota, etc. were also rare.
Family Drinking_Part 1
After the beer toast, I had sake! Since the restaurant is located in Hokkaido, we had "Kunimare". We enjoyed the sake with oyster "nameko" style.
