When ordering Junmai Daiginjo at an izakaya (Japanese style bar), we usually tend to drink it after the second glass to coincide with the main course, but I think the right thing to do is to enjoy the first glass, the first light dish, to the fullest. I thought to myself while eating morokyu at my parents' house.
Sour and refreshing. It has almost none of the heaviness that is typical of junmai sake. I drank it for dinner, but I think it is better to drink it in the evening.
